I had a great stay here! Spacious and comfy place. The backyard is nice and peaceful. The neighborhood felt safe and quiet and it’s removed from the touristy party areas, which I preferred. Easy Lyft or Uber around town. Eric was great! He was super helpful with some parking needs I had. He did all he could to make me comfortable, which I really appreciated. I’d definitely stay here again! Thanks, Eric :)

If you can’t do stairs, this place isn’t for you since it is on the 3rd floor above 2 other units. Other than that we loved it! Our neighbors were friendly & we enjoyed fishing & crabbing with them so it all worked out! We loved being on the outskirts of NOLA on the Barataria Bayou. The scenery & drive was beautiful. We even saw a huge alligator on the way to the house which was a plus for us! We are already planning our next stay! Morgan was super responsive, helpful, etc

This was hands down the greatest trip we’ve ever taken. We brought our 78 year old uncle, a lifelong fishing enthusiast, to Bayou Life to celebrate his birthday, and watching his joy every single day made this experience absolutely priceless. First off, the home is stunning. The pictures don’t come close to capturing how beautiful, comfortable, and well-stocked it is. It had everything we could possibly need, and more. Mornings with coffee on either of the two upper balconies were pure serenity. Evenings watching the sun melt into the river with a glass of wine or bourbon (yes, we had both) while pulling in fresh crabs from the five traps off your private dock, it was like something out of a movie. If that was the final scene of my life, I’d go!Morgan, the host, the legend. Most connected man in Louisiana. He had crab traps set, shrimp waiting helped arrange fish charter that pick up from the dock and crab tour. Same dock we caught several black drum over 30 lbs and monster catfish!

My family and I loved everything about this house. Having lived in New Orleans for 7 years and now returning to visit family and friends, this house made it feel like we were back at home. Great location, accessible, quiet street, great neighborhood. Thoughtfully renovated keeping a very New Orleans feel with modern kitchen and bathrooms. You won't find cheap finishes and cheap furniture from China here, unlike some quick flipped New Orleans Airbnbs! Andrew provided everything we needed, from new sponges and dish soap to bathroom toiletries. Plenty of space for parents and two small children. It was a perfect place to recharge in between French Quarter Fest, City Park, and getting sno-balls. Oh, and NO check-out chores!! We will be returning to "the yellow house" (as our 3-year old loved calling it) for our next visit! Thank you, Andrew!

Jay was an excellent host who was very responsive and clearly knows this neighborhood well. He gave us some good recommendations and we made some friends at some of the local spots. I never once felt unsafe walking around the neighborhood or coming back and forth from the French Quarter. The linens smelled nice and clean, there was air conditioning, a couple of nice bathrooms with great water pressure, and a nice kitchen. I slept great in the beds, and even hung out outside enjoying the lovely weather. I cant wait to return and stay here again. Best value for your money around.

Let me tell y’all about our wonderful stay at miss Genevieve’s beautiful Airbnb! Before our trip even began, she reached out to ask us about any dietary restrictions for the snacks she left in the space for us. When we got in, she warmly greeted us at the gate. Throughout our stay that week, she was helpful, responsive, kind, and FUN! We woke up one morning to fresh almond croissants. She has great dining and drinking recommendations. This is truly the best stay we’ve ever had at an Airbnb, and we WILL be staying here the next time we come to NOLA. THANK YOU GENEVIEVE! ⚜️🫶🏾 you rock, girl.

This is a wonder place to stay in. The house is clean, space is well decorated, and the neighborhood is pleasant. I wanted to clarify in my review that there are two couches for additional sleep spaces. One is a pull out bed and the other is a couch that back folds to a futon. Water pressure and water temp was on point…a big must for me! This place also gets you a way from the hustle and bustle of the French Quarter; chance to see all the wonderful things NOLA has to offer!

Best place I’ve stayed in New Orleans! What a great experience.
