Around 5-8 min walk from red line mrt, wide range of food just downstairs at night market. Temp of water hard to adjust, either scalding or freezing - finally learnt that had to use rainshower for more consistent temp. Rubbish clearing system not too straightforward ie you have leftover food from might market or perishables, need to take them out elsewhere to subway station to fling or keep them in the house for the entire stay's duration. Extremely audible rain sounds on metal if it rains and traffic noise and may not be suitable for people who require silence to sleep or babies. Quite narrow steep steps from entrance to door which is on 2nd floor - just fyi for people with heavy luggage/strollers/young children/elderly/pregnant. Alley is dark at night as well. Overall decent stay, good host. Thank you

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb in the heart of Taipei, right by Da’an Station—literally just a one-minute walk away! The location couldn’t be more convenient, with everything you might need within five minutes’ walk: banks, bubble tea shops, 7-11, you name it. The flat itself was spotless, well-equipped, and super comfortable. It had all the amenities we needed, including a washing machine and tumble dryer, which made our stay even more convenient. What really stood out was the host. Incredibly friendly and genuinely helpful. When we arrived during a holiday period and realized all the banks were closed, the host didn’t hesitate to help us exchange money—a gesture we were so grateful for. Highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Taipei!

Great Host, loved the place and safe. Walking distance to great eateries and attractions. The place was able to accommodate our party of four. The lady at the reception downstairs is nice and our trash was picked up upon request. Thank you Mandy, Winnie and Momo.

If you are looking for a clean, comfortable, easily accessible, and safe place to stay in Xinyi, then your search is over. This apartment is as described and pictured in the listing. It is across the street from the W Hotel, Breese shopping center with high-end stores such as Van Cleef and Arpels, Chanel, Gucci, as well as popular brands such as Uniqlo, Muji, etc. There are so many options for food and drinks all within a minute walk from apartment. Subway is down the block and takes us one minute to walk there. Main bus stops are right outside the apartment complex that connects you to all parts of Taipei. Overall, a wonderful and memorable stay. Communication with host is easy and response time is very fast. I highly recommend this lovely apartment.

Naomi is a 5-star host; sweet, understanding, fast in communications. I had an issue with my reservation and she helped to sort it out right away. Recommend staying through her any day.

개인적으로 이전에 거주하던 동네라 좋았습니다. 근처에 식당도 많고 지하철역도 가깝고 NTU에서 산책 가능합니다. 전반적으로 좋은 위치 숙소 컨디션이나 무거운 짐 가지고 이동하시는 분들은 엘레베이터가 없는 점 고려하셔야 됩니다.

We were a family of four visiting from the US. The apartment was comfortable and very convenient. Although Taipei 101 looks like it is tucked in a corner of the sprawl of Taipei, there is a lot going on in the neighborhood, both glitzy and more local in flavor. Ryan’s place is three minutes from the Taipei 101 MRT station and across the busy boulevard from the 101 Tower, yet because there is a large building between the street and the apartment, the apartment was quiet throughout the day. Note that the halls and common spaces are very much to traditional Taiwan standards of condition; the apartment itself is very clean. We removed our shoes at the door and were very comfortable in the apartment. We were in Taiwan in December so we used the heat on occasion. We were able to keep the temperature comfortable throughout the night without an issue. Beds are firm as usual for Asia.

It was our first time in Taipei and Taiwan, and as a family of 4, travel logistics can be hard. Hannah and her co-hosts were super responsive and helpful, and we even booked an airport pick up with them (disclaimer, I am fluent in Mandarin so we communicated in Chinese, but they do also speak English). Arrival at Airbnb were smooth, and the neighborhood is incredible. We picked Da'an because our friends told us it was hip with lots of things to do. The area around the Airbnb had a ton of restaurants but wasn't so crowded because it was a residential area away from the main intersection. The apartment itself is inside an older building, as many apartments in Taipei are. If you've been to Taipei, you'll know. But if you haven't, it might be a bit jarring. Also there was construction opposite the apartment when we stayed there. Hannah was very responsive and when our shower head didn't work, it was replaced in an hour. Thank you!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming vacation apartment. It was well-furnished with comfortable beds and homely décor, providing a restful experience. The outstanding spacious rooftop terrace offered stunning views, including a glimpse of Taipei 101, and is perfect for relaxation. The apartment is well-equipped, although we couldn't cook a meal. Anyhow we recommend trying the nearby restaurants instead of cooking, as there are many dining options within walking distance. Public transportation is easily accessible, making it convenient to explore Taipei. The Tianmu district, with its parks, rivers, and hiking trails, is a safe and vibrant area, ideal for nature lovers. Rose, the host, was excellent in communication, providing us with great recommendations for places to see and eat. We thoroughly enjoyed our two-week stay and highly recommend this apartment. We had a great stay (3 weeks). Sydney was a wonderful host, very helpful and responsive from beginning to end. The place was clean. The location of this unit is perfect for visitors to Taipei - it is located about an 8- 10-min walk from 2 MRT stops (and lots of bus stops), so you can get to most parts of the city w/in 30 minutes. A night market is only a 10 min walk away. The building is located right on a main street so it was very easy to find and lots of restaurants and shops close by, but the unit itself is set back from the main street so it is surprisingly quiet. The main caveat about this unit is that the bathtub is quite small and Asian-style with a ledge in it to sit while you bathe. There is little space to stand. This was a bit of a challenge to adjust to, since we are used to taking standing showers. Also, we had trouble getting the dryer function on the laundry machine to work. Overall though we had a great stay and would definitely be open to staying here again.

It was comfy, spacious, clean, good mattresses and showers. Good location, with lots of restaurants and markets within walking distance. Host was responsive and easy to communicate with. We had a great stay and would definitely stay here again!

Anne’s hospitality is amazing! She went above and beyond to ensure we arrived at the correct location and had all information and a detailed orientation of the building. The pool and hot spring is awesome but it is located about a 5-7 min walk beyond the community near IKEA which was unexpected but we got used to it. Location is convenient to MRT, UBike, Restaurants etc. Security guards are friendly. Space and community are both clean and quiet. Overall great but large community. The space is as described. The beds and blankets are comfy and the decor is chic. The building is earthquake proof because we experienced one while there: ). Anne was nice to check in and comfort us. I highly recommend her space.

Gordon s house was comfortable and good for stay with sufficient amenities. Parking lot was available and the house was at good location. Gordon is a nice host. He replied and responded quickly .

you are 20 steps from a night market, 5 minutes from 101, 15 minutes walk to Dunhua. if you are familiar with Taipei you know it's a location. The place is cozy and easy to find. I do recommend it

Very good value for money, the apartment is actually accessible through a store. 3 flights of stairs to walk up and down, be strong ! The 3 rooms are independant and offer only a little bit of privacy. 2 of them don't have a window to outdoor. A few appliances need reparation, the owner now knows about it. The kitchen and equipment are super basic, but fine. One separated toilet where it's hard to stand and little space for the legs when seated. Another toilet is in the bathroom. The bathtub is not protected by any curtain, the shower handle not holding well. The highlight is the living room, very bright and spacious. We could not enjoy the terrace due to bad weather, which also showed the lack of insulation of the roof and the apartment in general. When it's 15°C outside, you feel the cold inside. The big window is oriented south and I believe it must be on the other hand really hot in sunny days. Anyway a very good place to spend a few nights in Taipei with my family, we enjoyed !
