A good place to rent, I recommend it

My children and I had a staycation with our two dogs. Life is busy and stressful right now, the kids loved it so much they wanted to live there! We cooked, watched TV and enjoyed time together like a home away from home. The park nearby is amazing and the fenced yard is beautiful. A heads up about a difficult neighbor, I suggest hitting record on your phone as soon as any verbal altercation begins. It’s completely out of the host’s control, but the neighbor clearly takes issue with Airbnb guests and may want to make trouble. We only had one interaction, but it was enough to cause us a little worry.

We stayed at the Buffalo House for two nights and loved everything about it. The modern design, open concept, and cozy feel made it such a comfortable place for our family visit. The home is full of natural light, has an amazing sustainable feel, and the heated floors were such a treat. We also loved the floor-to-ceiling windows - they made the whole place feel so bright and welcoming. This was our very first Airbnb stay, and the hosts couldn’t have been more kind or accommodating. We really appreciated all the thoughtful touches from the plant-based organic body wash and shampoo to the soft bath towels, incredibly comfortable sheets and bedding, and all the pillows one could imagine. The space was exactly what we needed, and we’re so glad we chose this place. We would absolutely stay here again!

The house was just like the pictures indicated, and was perfect for our family of 6. The kitchen was very well stocked with pots, pans, appliances and a nice variety of spices. The bathrooms were clean and we loved the extra amenities- makeup wipes, lotion, shampoo and conditioner. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable . We definitely will be back

We loved staying here. It was well kept, and had everything we needed. It’s in a nice cozy, quiet neighborhood. The fenced in yard was perfect for our dog. She even had blocks to play with for our young son. She was very helpful and responsive anytime I reached out. Thanks so much!

We stayed for a month to spend time with family. The location was perfect. A quick ten minute ride and we could be anywhere we wanted. Brought our lab and the area was safe and easy to walk him daily. Several different park areas were nearby. We really had almost anything we needed. Brandon and Callie were quite responsive to any questions that came up. We had a great visit and can’t wait to go back!

This place was perfect for us!! The place was so cute and exactly like the pictures. The bed and lines were SO comfortable. And the host was amazing. Instructions were so clear and she was always available for questions. Will absolutely be back!

We stayed as an extended family for a funeral. It happened to be a busy weekend in Lawrence and wound up being the perfect place.

The place was beautiful. Pool and hot tub were amazing. The weather wasn’t great so we didn’t get to use them to their fullest extent. Beautiful landscaping outdoors and plenty of space for our family. Autumn was prompt and responsive to any questions we had. The kids had a great time and we would definitely stay here again.

Everything was nice and clean… came in town for a wedding… 25 mins to everything… responded very quickly.. suggested some restaurants.. will definitely be back ❤️

Great location for walking to downtown events and amazing value compared to what the downtown hotels were charging that weekend! Loved how spacious, modern, and clean it felt. Rooftop pool was a super fun amenity!

Wonderful Guest House! Very comfortable bed & well stocked kitchen. Location was a great homebase as we explored Shawnee and Kansas City. We enjoyed meeting John and Cora (and their dogs.). They were friendly and helpful. We hope to return this summer and use the pool!

Bliss. The pretty street, lush with mature trees, sets the vibe. The entry instructions are clear and easy. The apartment is welcoming and has great flow. The thing that elevates it, though, is Adam, the host. I had to get out of an alternate situation in a hurry on a blistering hot day. Adam initially mentioned that once the AC got up to speed, I'd be golden. But as an afterthought he traveled to the apartment and turned it full blast himself. That, my friends, is top notch hosting. Between that and his thoughtful and prompt responses (with diagrams!) I quickly got the feeling I was staying in the home of an old friend, though of course I have never met the gent. This is hosting as only the gods can do it. Thanks Adam.

Nice and clean unit in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to downtown Kansas City. Lindsey is a great host and easy to get a hold of if needed. Would definitely stay again !

We very much enjoyed staying at Summer’s place for a family visit! The layout of the house was great and our large family could spread out. We very much enjoyed the ping pong table downstairs and also the seating area outside by the creek where we often ate lunch. My children enjoyed the (small) park within walking distance and all the amazing snacks that Summer left for us. The general location is great as well - lots of wonderful things to do nearby! We especially liked the Lenexa Rec Center which had a great pool for a chilly afternoon :)

Really enjoyed staying at this house. The house was extremely nice and clean. The beds, pillows, sheets and towels were all top notch. No problems at all. Our family really enjoyed the home, and the location was great for our outings and visiting our daughter close to the KU medical center. Will definitely try to stay here again on our next visit to KC.

Nice peaceful setting with plenty of birds and a cool secluded long entrance lane. Check-in is easy and the place is spacious. Goats were a blast. Windows are located on all sides and are easily opened, yet good functional blinds are also present for privacy. Very nice TV and good wifi connection.

Lovely home in a and quiet neighborhood. We were close to everything. Beautiful neighborhood. Hosts thought of everything.

The place was spacious and the best for me and my family. I don’t have one thing negative to say about our stay. On top of everything being perfect I have to give the host a lot of appreciation. He communicated very well and answered all questions I had. Having him as a host made it better as well. I would definitely recommend his place. I would definitely use his place again. Steve and Mary were great hosts with a beautiful home! Our family of 9-10 were able to make great memories here and the layout of their home was perfect for larger groups. Steve was very proactive at making sure we had easy check in and outs and that we knew how to reach them if we were to need anything at all. Their home was full of love and beautiful art, and the pool table was a hit for all of us. We all agreed we would definitely stay again if the opportunity comes across. Thanks Steve and Mary!
