A nice snd cozy environment. The house was clean and packed full of different items. The hot tub was very nice. I recommend staying here for a quiet, relaxing getaway

Our stay at this cabin was absolutely wonderful! The cabin was clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed, making it the perfect getaway. The views outside were stunning, offering a peaceful and private setting to relax and unwind. Everything was exactly as described, with all the listed amenities available and well-maintained. The location was ideal—secluded enough for privacy yet within a 30-45-minute drive to a variety of activities, including snowboarding, skiing, hiking, dining, and local attractions. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a serene and comfortable retreat!

It was a cozy place and I’d love to stay there again!! The beds were very comfortable and the house smelt so good, like a campfire!! We loved it!

A feeling of peace and contentment overtakes you in this environment. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The views are breathtaking 💚. Enjoyed the hot tub under the stars; watching the sunset by the gas fire; listening to the birds welcome the new day in the morning with coffee by the gas grill. Looking down on the clouds in the valley was an amazing experience. Although we didn’t play any games, there was a great selection. Only one thing to mention - more clothes hangers for the overpackers (guilty) 😆. Just kidding, my husband tells me all the time that I overpack! Julie is an awesome host. She graciously allowed us to reschedule our trip due to the hurricane here and the 2 hurricanes we had in Florida. 🧡💚❤️

We had a group get together in January and everything was great! The house listing is accurate, the views were beautiful and the trail up the mountain was really fun. The main living area was a great hangout spot. Only real wish was that the hot tub was closer up on the balcony or that the basement was finished so it's not a freezing trek from the hot tub. That's no reason not to rent this place, I will likely be back.

The place looks just like the pictures. The owners were very kind and accommodating. We loved our mini vacation. The kids enjoyed running in the backyard, making smores at the campfire, playing in the creek and relaxing in the hot tub. The views were beautiful and it was very peaceful. The little market is 7 minutes away and has great cheeseburgers and onion rings. For grocery type items I would recommend driving 10 minutes to the Dollar General. Thank you for a lovely stay, we’ll be back!

We loved staying here at the Bear Lodge! We had a short stay but made lasting memories. The pool table was a big hit and we may not have used the fire pit this go around but we definitely will the next time! thank you Carrie for opening your home ❤️

Very peaceful and relaxing space. Would recommend and stay again. Nice to hear the whippoorwills at night also. Charity was very responsive and helpful as well.

The best little get away! This cabin was perfect for our family and our golden doodle! There was so much room! We absolutely LOVED the hot tub, stream, and fit pit at the end of the day after near by Grandfather Mt & Tweetsie Railroad. The cabin was clean, well stocked, it felt like we were right at home. Jade was a GREAT host and we will definitely be back!

House was great for a family get away. It was very spacious with gorgeous views. Laura was very whick to respond on any questions we had ensuring our stay was a pleasant experience. I would would to stay here again in the future.

We took our two kiddos (ages 3 and 5) and our 2 dogs. It was a nice private location so we could keep our dogs off leash. The kids really loved the trails and the creek. The dogs really enjoyed swimming in the pond. The house was spacious and clean. We had a wonderful time!

Pure magic! We did not know what to expect, delightfully impressive every time. If you are an adventurous soul, this is a great place for you

The house is such a gem!! It was perfect for our family of 9 for Thanksgiving. We could have never left the house our entire trip because the main level is so cozy and comfortable. There is plenty of games and puzzles to keep everyone entertained. My son loved the little nook area with the bean bag. There is plenty of space to spread out with the 3 different living room areas. If you want a good workout - go for a walk! The house is at a higher elevation in the neighborhood, so you will have to walk down and back up. We hiked to Laurel Falls - that was another workout! Be prepared to drive a little ways to the grocery store. We brought most of our groceries but needed a few things and the next town is 25-30 minutes away. (Of course, there is always Dollar General that is closer!) Not many places to eat out. The first night we went to the Trading Post and the food was good and the people were so friendly, we stopped back in on our way out to say goodbye!

The cabin is so pretty and comfy, and dog friendly is a plus! We loved our getaway.

I enjoyed the stay at Kevn's place. It is recommended that you have a 4-wheel drive vehicle, as my Civic didn't want to go up the gravel driveway once it was wet from the rain.

Wonderful cabin getaway weekend- driving up to the cabin can be treacherous in winter so 4WD a must. Walking inside the door opens up to a warm cozy cabin, fireplace and sleeping arrangements were super accommodating. Beautiful views and awesome games basement. Make sure you check hot tub temp as soon as you arrive!

Awesome stay! The cabin is full of fun, you really don’t have to leave. Fully equipped kitchen and plenty of linens. I especially loved the fans upstairs since it is warmer. Do let it be noted that the drive up the mountain to the cabin is very scary and I would recommend arriving during the day. Other than that, a great stay.

Leon was wonderful! Great, quiet place, pleasant hottub, and big comfy beds with soft linens. We left a headlamp there and Leon went above and beyond to get it back to us. Should be arriving in the next couple days. Thanks for everything, Leon! I will stay here again if I'm ever in the area again. Love the ample taxidermy decor!

Absolutely loved the cabin. I would definitely rent again if available. We rented it twice back to back with my family. We enjoyed every moment we were there. Our firat trip was to snow ski and tube with my kids and the second trip was to celebrate my sisters 50th Birthday which she enjoyed. Thank you so much Kimberly for allowing our family to enjoy your home. You have allowed us to create the most beautiful memories!
