This was a wonderfully relaxing retreat for us. Travel back in time. We loved the old farmhouse, family history, and time-appropriate Texas decor! Peaceful mornings on the porch, sipping coffee and watching horses and birds! Comfy beds and pillows, great water pressure in the shower, and perfectly clean. Plenty of space to relax! Excellent host! Super responsive and friendly!

I don’t even know where to begin! We had 4 grown men staying at the house and we were just like little kids in the game room. Hot tub was a big bonus due to working 2 weeks straight and needing to relax! All in all the house was AMAZING! Most definitely going to keep it saved due to more work coming soon! Thank you again!

If you love horses this is a must stay. Uplifting and peaceful. Donna was helpful without being intrusive, providing a sincerely welcoming environment. The RV had everything necessary to live like we were in our home. We unplugged for a couple days, took in our beautiful surroundings, and left refreshed.

Pamela’s cottage was perfect! I’m often in the Grandview/Maypearl/Covington area for short little trips. Now that I bring my Golden Retriever with me, it has been difficult to find places that are convenient and affordable. Pamela’s is everything and then some! If anything, Pamela undersells how amazing the place is. The cottage itself is super clean and had everything I needed. The bed was comfy, the hot water worked great, and I could let my dog sniff around without fear of her picking something up off the ground because of how clean it was. The directions and instructions to get there and enter were very clearly communicated. And the surrounding land they have is beautiful. Sadie and I loved our stay and will definitely book again soon!

Lakehouse was more than we expected. The kids enjoyed fishing, hitting golf balls, into the lake, and playing pool on porch. They all were happy because they caught a fish. We had access to several grills and made pizza, breakfast, and cooked hamburgers. Thank you for sharing your wonderful place.

We had a great time at Bob’s place. The location was great for us as we split time between Waco and Fort Worth. My only complaint, and it’s not really even a complaint as it is mentioned in the listing, but there were a lot of personal food items in the pantry and fridge that were not available to use. This definitely feels like a private residence just being used occasionally as an AirBnB which again is fine. I just wanted others to be aware. Other than that, we had a nice time and would likely stay again if back in that area!
