If you choose to be adventurous there is hiking trails, biking, fishing, kayaking and several state parks with lakes nearby. Enjoy!

We are within walking distance of Swatara State Park and close to the Appalachian Trail. Short drive to local wineries, bowling alley, pub/diner, escape room & movie theater. Grocery stores and gas are also nearby. Hershey Park, Knobels Grove, Rausch Creek, & other fun adventures are near. Great sledding! Cozy ski hut!

Feel free to relax by the pool or if your adventurous walks or biking throughout the wooded trails of the Appalachian plus tubing / kayaking the swatara creek or just enjoy nature wildlife from the front porch. Cozy up in our fully furnished with kitchen lower level lodge.

Monroe Valley Guesthouse

Our house is located near the interstate and within easy reach of Hershey and numerous other attractions. Swatara State Park is just a 2 minute drive away. There is a hiking and biking trail just down the road. If you are kayaking you can put in or get out of the creek right into the yard. The hot tub, grille, and stocked kitchen are waiting after your days activities. Do not expect me to message you before your stay - you can be assured the place is ready for you! Also there is no TV.
