We had an incredible weekend stay at this beautiful home with our group of 15 college friends! The house exceeded our expectations with its spacious layout, perfect for a big group. The outdoor spaces were amazing, with large decks and plenty of seating areas where we could relax and socialize. But what really made our stay stand out was the fantastic selection of games and activities! We spent hours playing table tennis and pickle ball, and the house had everything we needed for a fun and entertaining weekend. We would highly recommend this home to any large group or family looking for a memorable getaway. Thanks for a fantastic stay!

A lovely home for our month long stay! We were very comfortable. It was disappointing the pool and hot tub were not cleaned/serviced during our time, after asking a few times. It was part of the reason we chose this home. The hostess was very responsive and courteous, explaining the problem was an ineffective switch in the pool company. A partial credit was promised and not yet delivered. I will update this review if anything changes. We would gladly stay in this home again and I recommend it fully!

We truly enjoyed our visit. The Airbnb was beautiful, the rooms and beds were incredibly comfortable. The kitchen was amazing. However the star of the show was the backyard, my children love nature and gardening so we were able to appreciate Matt’s beautiful garden while enjoying the weather.

This was a wonderful place to stay in Austin! The house is beautifully decorated and very clean. Our family of three adults and two teens had plenty of space and enjoyed our stay!

I highly recommend this house if you are traveling to Texas, very comfortable and clean. The patio’s view was awesome! Everything was great and clean!

Blanca’s place exceeded our expectations. The gorgeous backyard firepit & hottub helped us keep the chilly weekend enjoyable. It was also very apparent the housekeeping takes extra detail with how clean it was, the details of the linens etc. Would highly recommend for a fun weekend place! Also Blanca answered all questions very quickly!

We were a group of five ladies on a "Girls Trip". Everyone in the group loved the house. It was furnished beautifully and had all the amenities any group would want and enjoy. Our hosts' communication was quick and helpful. The home location is close enough to the airport and downtown for ease and the area surrounding it had all the amenities one would need. We all said that if we returned to Austin together or with our own family's we would want to stay at this place once again. Thank you to our hosts for a wonderful stay!

We enjoyed our staycation here. It’s only a 40 min from our house in Austin but it was a great getaway. We were very comfortable. The design of the villas is really nice (friends came over for a swim and they complimented the space) and we enjoyed the views of Hill Country and the pool from the balconies. The stars were more visible than what we’re used to. We brought our 4 mo old puppy and was easily able to entertain him. There’s lots of open grass and a dog potty area. We really wanted a place where we could teach our dog to swim. But no pets are allowed in the pool. Also the listing says a 9 min walk to the lake, but when asked, the property owners said it’s not walkable and that it is a feature Airbnb automatically puts on the listing. So just be aware if that’s of interest. I was told by someone that you can drive to a beach and swim with your dog close by. The Internet isn’t great. TV shows buffered. But we were able to check email, do a video call n watch streaming movies.

The grandkids loved it. Youngest one loved the ping pong. Mid Grandkid loved the fitness center, basketball and pickleball courts. And the oldest loved the pool. Convenient location, local grocery store and eateries. Close to Austin and local sites.

Our weekend getaway was an exceptional experience. The property was exactly as described in the listing. It was well-maintained, plenty of beds and startup amenities. The location was ideal for us, nestled in a peaceful neighborhood, with a view of the lake from several rooms. The dock on the lake was a plus for fishing. Whether you’re into outdoor adventures or looking for a relaxing retreat, this spot caters to both. The backyard was a highlight, with a pool/hot tub, seating area and BBQ grill. Game room and pool table were a hit as well. Communication with the host was seamless; they were prompt in responding to messages and provided thorough instructions for check-in and check-out. Overall, this vacation rental met our expectations, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-equipped place to stay. We really enjoyed our stay in Lago Vista and would definitely return!

We loved falcons nest. Beautiful property. Looks like the pictures. We were able to get quick responses all weekend. It was a peaceful yet enjoyable birthday weekend. The gate entrance is hard to find from the dark road. And I was a bit bummed to leave out two more of my close friends that couldn't even visit the property during the day (No day guests past the 10 guests permitted to stay.). But I understood the 10 person max guideline and previous issues they've had with too many guests. We'd definitely return.

Travis was an exceptional host. He was quick to communicate if anything was needed and offered multiple amenities. The space itself is very private, great for photos especially around the lake, it's just you and nature. If the weather wasn't so cold we definitely would've hit the water. Hadn't ever heard of spicewood before, but would come again! Thank you again Travis!

Kathy was an amazing host!!! the house was in incredible condition when we got ther and she was super communicative the whole time! We drove down from OKC and had some car troubles when we arrived and needed to stay extra days, she was very understanding and willing to help us while we figured out our plan to get back home!

A great place, with great decor, tons to do and very clean!

Annette was always super responsive with any questions. I rented the houses for a joint bachelor / bachelorette party for 13 people. There was plenty of space, although only 3 bathrooms which made getting ready and showering semi-difficult. The kitchen was partly stocked with things like coffee, spices, olive oil, etc The pool and house were very clean. It was relatively easy to get an uber to go into the city for about $50. Overall, we had a great time!

This was the perfect little getaway spot. Cozy cabin, great views and right by the water. Kelly was great with responses when I had questions and made everything very easy. I highly recommend and I will definitely be back.

We stayed two nights for a girls trip and it was perfect! The outside area was so nice to sit with a glass of wine and the neighborhood is peaceful and very walkable. We would definitely return.

I recently stayed here with my family for a long weekend and would definitely book again! Lots of space, very peaceful and great amenities. Kitchen is very big and has a great oven and stove top to make lots of food! I was impressed that there were coffee pods and coffee grounds for you to use with the coffee machine! Nice extra touch. I really liked the downstairs area for the kids to play in! Also fun for the adults too since there is a Pac-Man machine and foosball table. We used the pool all weekend which was relaxing and also used the jacuzzi a couple of times! There is also a fire pit which is great for smores. Definitely matched the description! Would love to visit again! Very spacious and felt homey. I had a couple of questions while staying here and all questions were answered very quickly! Great host! Thank you!

If you’re looking for a quiet getaway in the hill country this is a great spot. The cabin is surrounded by beautiful trees and there were blue jays and red birds chirping as we enjoyed our morning coffee. 20 minutes to Wimberly and Dripping Springs. The bed was very comfy as well! Highly recommend.

Tricia's place was exactly what we were looking for and everything we could have hoped for. The property is beautiful, secluded and incredibly peaceful. No neighbors, no noise, just absolute serenity. Plus, her pets were so friendly and definitely added to the whole experience. The cabin was amazing in itself because of how old it is and how well it's been preserved and maintained. It had every modern amenity you could want or need. The bed was super comfortable, the AC worked great and the WiFi worked great for streaming. With all that said, we would absolutely go back again.

What an amazing rental. They were so accommodating at last minute. Beautiful secluded area with plenty of space to gather.

This was our third time to stay here. As always it’s secluded and quiet. Great amenities and decor. A very relaxing and peaceful getaway for our anniversary!
