This place was awesome. I especially liked waking every morning to a beautiful ocean view ! The small cafe down the street was great for breakfast. Food at Lorettas was good as well. We did not eat at the gastropub as it really was so small and you needed reservations and there are so many good places in town. Yahongreh or Sandy Buns for breakfast, Gingers or Booty Bar (a little loud) for lunch. Best supper we had was at The Drunken Sailor. The wagon with the beach chairs and flotation things were a great bonus! We felt like locals walking down with our cool stuff. Snorkeling in front of Gingers is awesome. Make sure and take a water taxi to Igabari for a spectacular meal !!! Thank you for a great stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Rosalie's and would highly recommend! Rosalie was a fantastic host and organized everything from airport pick up to drop-off for us seamlessly. She was incredibly helpful and very nice to interact with. The space was perfect for our needs. Bed was super comfy and location was ideal. Great place, great host, and recommend staying here if you get the chance to do so!

The house was absolutely lovely. Right on the beach, very roomy and stayed comfortable during the heat. Neighbors were super friendly. Could walk to 2 restaurants and to a ziplining/ atv place. The best part was being able to snorkel right off the beach. We did a night snorkel and saw an octopus and king crab. Mark answered any questions we had right away. Would definitely recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay. The place suited us to a tee. Wonderful breezes flowing through in the evenings and mornings. Location is excellent...private and quiet in the evenings, yet close 10 minute walk to half moon bay and West End beaches. Also close to night life and restaurants. We really enjoyed the communal covered deck area right on the waters edge.

This place was all about the location for a great price! It is a 5-10 min walk to everything. I woke up every morning and walked downstairs and 10 feet to the water to start snorkeling. Has a hammock to relax in and view of the water. The place is old and rundown but it was clean, bed comfortable, and everything worked. It is above a restaurant but I had no issues with it. They played music always during the time I was showering and getting dressed for dinner and enjoyed it. For the price and convenience of the location I would definitely return and hope to.

Our experience at Estela's was fantastic and we would highly recommend. Having stayed at many vacation rentals the accommodations were as expected and the service was second to none. The property is a single vacation unit on the second floor which is very private. Essentially there is a whole length of beach which is exclusively yours to enjoy. The grounds were very well kept and very comfortable to walk the property barefoot. There were beach lounge chairs and beach towels available at any time. On our first evening we had an excellent meal that would be one of the best during our stay. Although the natural airflow kept the suite very comfortable their were a few nights which we enjoyed the air conditioning. Estela is a very gracious host and it was a pleasure to know her acquaintance and enjoy hers and her Mom's accommodations.

Shanna’s place is ideal for a peaceful and relaxing vacation, which is just what we were looking for. The place is very true to the pictures and description and our only regret was not making our stay longer 😎. Bill was very attentive and helpful and, no doubt, one of the best hosts you can ask for. Wonderful place, wonderful people, definitely recommend it.

This is a great place to stay if you’re looking for peace and quiet. We spent almost all of our time there either on the pier, on the beach or in the pool, the only other people we saw were the hosts. The scenery is amazing! The water was see through and warm. To do it all over again, we would have taken Mariolas recommendation on a day boat for snorkeling as the kayaking was a little difficult due to high winds, so we did not get to do any real snorkeling, but theres always next time. We brought our own food up with us, because we knew we were well off the beaten path(rent an SUV for this ride) but did stop in to eat at La Sirena and the food and setting were great. For the better part of a week, all we did was rest and recharge, and it was all we wanted! Highly recommend this spot!

La casa de playa de Ryan es un lugar muy bonito, relajante y tranquilo. Todo estaba bastante limpio, está muy bien equipado (juegos de mesa, suficientes toallas, electrodomésticos, utensilios para cocinar, Kayaks, etc), los aires acondicionados funcionan muy bien. Tiene una excelente vista al mar, sin embargo hay que tener en cuenta que no se puede bañar en el área que está frente a la casa, ya que es poco profundo (el agua llega a los tobillos), pero si usas los kayaks y avanzas unos 100 metros a la derecha, puedes nadar en el área de los manglares, donde el nivel del agua es más profundo, color azul turquesa. También mencionar que Ryan siempre estuvo atento sobre nuestra estadía y Kendra es una persona muy amable, nos obsequió unas ricas donas hechas en casa, que estaban deliciosas. Definitivamente recomiendo este alojamiento y espero volver pronto.

We loved our stay here. It was away from the cruise crowds and we got around just fine with our rental car. We happened to stay during the windy-est week ever, and sweet Hana was always checking in on us when the power winked out a couple of times. It was nothing that she could have prevented, but it was nice to know that someone cared!

Our stay at Brian and Sherri's place was phenomenal. The location is gorgeous. Tucked away on a beautiful lagoon, with incredible views all around. Communication with Sherri was prompt, easy and helpful. The house is well stocked. The wifi is fast (40+ up and down). The bar/restaurant downstairs is often lively but never loud. The staff around the marina are all friendly and helpful. Jump in off the dock. Kayak around the lagoon. Swim out to the floating bar. Nap on the porch. Everything you could ask for out of a Roatán stay. Unless your looking for all inclusive, cruise ship vibes. in which case West End is your best bet. If you're looking for a perfect little hidden gem, this is it!

El lugar es precioso, despertar y ver el mar en frente es maravilloso! Luke es un 7 como persona y como cara visible del lugar, se portó muy bien y nos ayudó siempre. Si se quieren desconectar se los recomiendo 100%

The condo was very nice with great ocean views, being located right on iron shore. Great to watch the ship traffic during morning coffee or evening sun downers. Location is ideal - in a nice peaceful residential neighborhood, but only a 5’ walk to the shops/restaurants/bars of west end. Also, there are some places that are even closer (Stowaway, Paolo’s, Loretta’s). Definitely no need for a car (unless you plan on heading to the east end of the island…). Kitchen is well set up. Highlight for me was the multiple coffee prep methods (moka pot, French press, drip). Awesome to have a good cup of coffee while watching the cruise ships go by in the morning.

This condo met my family's needs during our diving trip. The owner helped me connect with her property manager, and she in turn coordinated transportation for us (a) from the airport to the condo with an intermediate stop for groceries and (b) from the condo back to the airport at the end of our trip. The owner was flexible about our check-in time, and the property manager met us upon arrival, ensuring that we had access to the condo and were familiar with all of its resources before she departed. The upstairs neighbors sprang into action when we had a WiFi problem, and they helped ensure that we were able to access an alternate WiFi source. We only used the AC in the two bedrooms at night, and we ended up paying an extra $25 in electricity charges for our 5-night stay in early April. There's ample cross-ventilation during the daytime when the doors are open. The condo's location makes for a safe and peaceful environment that's a short walk to restaurants and dive centers.

We had a great week at this condo! Vanessa was extremely responsive to all questions. She arranged our pick up at the airport which was very helpful. The condo was spacious for our family of four and the pool was a great amenity. We loved taking a water taxi to the Mayan Princess in West Bay to enjoy the beach and pool. Snorkeling was amazing right off the beach! The condo was a short walk to all of the great restaurants in West End. There are a lot of steps to get up to the condo so keep that in mind if you have mobility issues. Like some others said, the linens & decor could use a refresh but overall we had a great stay and would recommend.

Ada’s secret garden was everything she described it to be and more. If you like to snorkel and enjoy privacy, this is the place for you. Ada is very responsive and friendly. She made us feel right at home. One evening we used her kitchen to have friends over for a bar-b-q and she was so accommodating. The place is walkable to the beach (2 minutes) , the dive shops, restaurants and gift shops. Ada’s place is a little oasis in earth and I would recommend it to any couple looking to relax, snorkel and to enjoy the beauty of West End. We will definitely be back.

Great place. Mellisa recommendations were awesome! We had a great time and would love to go back someday. Jacksons dive shop is a 1 minute walk up the road. They were fantastic. Mellisa also recommended a driver, Marco. He was the best and we never needed a rental car.

One of the most beautiful places I have stayed, the views were spectacular, the place its self is much better than staying in a 5 star hotel. We went there for diving and all of the main dive sites were walking distance. The communication with Bill and Ramona was amazing.

This condo was great. My wife and I stayed there for 10 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the condo, the complex (pool and surrounding patio was awesome) and the location (short walk into where all the restaurants, bars and stores are). Be aware that the main picture of this AirBnB add is not actually your balcony. That's the balcony of the front unit and this rental is the back unit. This unit still has a great balcony, but the ocean view is off the side. There is one picture of the balcony; it's the one with two chairs and you can see your view of the ocean between the buildings. My wife and I still made it work, we just orientated our chairs pointing out the side and sat out there every morning and most evenings, for hours :) Bottom line: It's a great condo in a great location for a very reasonable price. The hosts were fantastic and we were well taken care of.
