Downtown Keosauqua is less than half a mile and conveniently located near all that this quaint river town has to offer - dining, shopping, bars, trails, kayaking, fishing, hunting and so much more. Emma’s Cottage is close to great views, family-friendly activities, Nauvoo sites and the Historic Nauvoo Temple. It is good for couples, families, solo adventurers, and business travelers. The cottage was built around the 1940’s. If you enjoy privacy in an authentic environment, then you’ll love it.

Captains Quarters Treehouse

An off the grid whimsical gem in the Ten Acre Treehouse forest! "The Captains Quarters". This is the 2nd treehouse in rural Nauvoo. A lot of the same touches found in "The Whitetail". The first treehouse here, you will find in this nautical inspired creation. This treehouse is a full 2 story, 400 sq foot, and features second story bedroom, sleeper sofa on the first floor, small kitchen area with refrigerator/freezer, microwave, coffee maker, plates, silverware, cups and a sink!

Located 1½ miles north of Keokuk, nestled on a bluff overlooking the Mississippi River, the Tree of Life River retreat is located in a cozy, private, walk-out lower level (with hosts living above). We are located approximately 18 miles from downtown Nauvoo via the bridge in Keokuk.

Lacey state park has many outdoor adventures - Lake Sugema, hunting, fishing & hiking in the forest.

We welcome guests to our 1880 Sonora Town Hall Cottage. This building once served as a voting poll for the Sonora Township. It is now a beautiful boutique cottage for overnight guests staying in the Nauvoo area. We are located on a working grain farm 6 miles southeast of Nauvoo. PLEASE NOTE: NO SMOKING or VAPING on the premises. We do have security cameras outside of the town hall building, which provide security and lighting for all guests.
