The young family invited me in and treated me like family. Makara and Theary gave me knowledge of the area, showed me around when they were available. The food provided is organic and natural as they are very health conscious. The surrounding area provides amazing villages to explore and nature with mountains not far to hike in. I spent an entire day hiking a mountain and never saw one person. So peaceful. Market walking distance away. Room was very comfortable and spacious. Total bonuses are Makara is a nurse and runs a private clinic if you should need anything, also shoe repair which interestingly i needed my sandles repaired haha. Included fresh coffee and fruit for breakfast was amazing. I rented a scooter when I arrived in Phnom penh and drove out. I truly enjoyed witnessing life here and meeting the amazing people. Kep beach 2 hour drive away.
