Relaxing Rural Retreat in Otaki

This new two-bedroom rural retreat is ideal for a relaxing break with family/ friends. Great indoor/outdoor living with a deck and views over a family friendly lifestyle property with a separate driveway on a no-exit road. The house is energy-efficient with solar power. It is a 5-minutes to the Ōtaki township, where the Te Wananga O Raukawa campus, and the Golf Course are. The township also contains a library, supermarkets and takeaway shops. The beach and Otaki Forks is just a 10-minute drive.

Frankie's place

We have the perfect spot for resting on your way to or from Wellington. You will stay amongst the fruit trees. The birdlife is great. Our tiny home is on our section 20mtrs from our house. You have your own separate entrance & parking space. we are 5 min north of Otaki, 10 min from Levin & Waikawa Beach . The Manakau Market & The Greenery garden centre are close. We are a family of five and especially in summer we spend a lot of time outside so expect the normal sounds of family life.

An ideal spot to do all your water sports, tramp or hunt in the nearby hills & to visit the famous birth sanctuary that is Kapiti Island. Both Raumati South & Beach offer some cool cafes, restaurants and quality shopping.

Please bear in mind this is a Batch/lifestyle accommodation, and we don't charge for cleaning, the batch is always cleaned between guests and we always provide clean bedding and towels.

Kokomea - peaceful rural self-contained studio

Kokomea - means the glow of the sunset. This is a private peaceful property with a pleasant rural outlook towards the Hemi Matenga ridge. The studio is separate from the house with its own private outdoor space. Kokomea is just 2 mins drive from the beautiful Te Hapua beach and a shorter distance to Sudbury's wedding venue. Sunsets over Kapiti Island from the beach are stunning. Waikanae and Waikanae beach with its restaurants and bars are 6 ks away. Otaki's shops are 10 mins away.

Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally located place. Attached to my garage, this studio offers quality furnishings and facilities. Short stroll to train station and coastlands shopping mall. Paraparaumu Beach is just an 8 minute drive. Two family dogs on the property but kept away from studio area. Please note railwayline backs on to property. The studio has a kitchenette with microwave, toaster, kettle, air fryer and fridge freezer. Continental breakfast is provided.

Seven minutes walk from Otaki Beach. Relax and unwind on your own private deck off our newly built sunny garden guest suite. Our self-contained suite is situated away from the main house and is ideal for a couple, solo adventurers, and business travelers. We provide a comfy bed and optional cooked breakfast. As well as full cooking facilities. Time it right and you can help yourself to seasonal produce from the garden and free range eggs from our lovely chooks.

The Tree House

This is a brand new 2 bedroom spacious cottage nestled amongst trees, situated in a quiet cul-de-sac overlooking the Waikanae river. The Cottage has a complete kitchen and two good sized bedrooms equipped with queen beds and internal wardrobes. It is equipped with a heat pump and for those cozy cool evenings a fire place. If your fancy takes you, there is an outside bath on the veranda that you can relax in and enjoy while watching the birds in the tree tops.

Modern Beach House With Sea Views and Spa

Sit back, relax and enjoy the views from this calm, stylish space. Have morning coffee or a relaxing spa on the front deck, then gin and tonics watching beautiful Kapiti sunset on the balcony. Everything is new, from the kitchen to the bathrooms. The lawn is large, with mature trees for privacy and bird life. Beach access is about 100 metres away. The area is quiet, with a beach holiday feel. Unfortunately this property is not suitable for children under 12.

The property has its own beach access so you can meander down a grassy path to a quiet beach spot away from the madding crowds to sip a glass of wine and watch a stunning sunset with a backdrop of Kapiti Island.

Enjoy your privacy and own space with a functional kitchenette with a microwave and bench top oven, best shower pressure ever, fast internet for business or just for leisure ...or just relax with a movie on Netflix.
