You will hear the waves lapping while enjoying the panoramic views including Kapiti Island and amazing nightly sunsets. This spot is perfect for beach walks and swimming. Complete kitchen. Kids kayaks and a paddle board available for guest use. This is our own family beach house that we are opening up to guests so it naturally comes with the lived in feel and some personal items - not a sterile investment

A short walk will take you to Waikanae's long sandy beach, the river estuary, cycle tracks and river walks. Accommodation includes a twin room downstairs next to the bathroom, queen bedroom on the mezzanine and another living space with a futon sofa bed. Outside seating areas front and back. Wake up to see ducks and swans on the water - a truly relaxing and secluded place to unwind.
