奈良 ・斑鳩町、世界遺産「法隆寺」の目の前にある 懐かしくもどこか新しい、こだわりの一軒家です。 各階の床は、法隆寺の建材と同じく奈良吉野産のヒノキを使用しています。 宿泊は最大9名まで。「オトナの修学旅行」のような友人同士の滞在やクリエイティブな合宿、建築好きの旅人にもおすすめです。 周辺にはスーパー、カフェ、中国料理店、お団子屋さん、こだわりのパン屋さん、ミシュランの星を獲得したこともある日本料理店、お菓子の名店などがあり、都会的な一面があります。 一方、斑鳩の旧い趣が残る穏やかな風景も点在し、ゆったりとした散策をお楽しみいただけます。 国宝半跏思惟像を擁する中宮寺、法隆寺と並ぶ世界遺産法起寺、大和平野を一望する借景が見事な慈光院、百人一首にも詠まれた三室山や竜田川もすぐ近くです。 早朝の澄んだ空気の中、歴史ある築地塀に囲まれたまちを堪能し、斑鳩にマイホームがあるかのような体験を、ぜひお楽しみください。 なお当宿は国道沿いの便利な立地ではございますが、騒音や振動に繊細な方にはお勧めできません。こちらをご理解いただける方にのみ、ご予約をいただけますとありがたく存じます。

A Satoyama Private Retreat in Nara

A private Satoyama retreat in the mountains of Nara, just 20 minutes from the city. This traditional one-group-per-day house is renovated with reclaimed wood and uses fresh mountain spring water. Enjoy hands-on cooking with organic rice and vegetables from our farm. Relax in a wood-fired bath, and in the morning experience a Japanese tea ceremony surrounded by nature. Dinner options include tempura & sushi rolls, teriyaki chicken, koji fried chicken, or pizza making.

A newly renovated machiya town house with typical layout and a small garden, retaining the tradition of Naramachi - the old merchant town of Nara. Easy access via bus and train, supermarket, restaurants, convenience store, bakery, and a Japanese bath house just minutes away. This house belonged to a famous wood carver of "ittobori" - a traditional Nara technique of carving the wood. A projector and a record player will make your stay even more pleasant. Enjoy!

およそ築100年、大正時代の本格日本家屋のゲストハウスを一棟貸し切りして頂けます。 気兼ねなく、奈良に暮らすようにゆっくりお過ごし頂けます。 奈良公園のすぐ側、近鉄奈良駅まで徒歩約10分。 早朝や夕暮れの静かな時間の散策も容易です。 4名様まで同料金です。最大9名様までご宿泊頂けます。 格子の窓や茶室、縁側、中庭、大正時代に建てられた日本家屋は趣で魅力いっぱいです。 中庭に面した掘り炬燵のあるリビングでゆっくり団欒して下さい。 キッチンは、IHコンロ、電子レンジ、トースター、冷蔵庫、ポット、調理道具などが揃っています。 みんなで料理して、庭を見ながら掘りごたつでお鍋を囲むなど、楽しくお過ごし下さい！ トイレとシャワールームは二か所ずつございます。 ホテルのような設備はございませんが、懐かしい情緒とゆっくりお過ごし頂けると幸いです。 お部屋は寝室だけで合計3部屋（大きい和室を分割すれば4部屋）ございます。 人数に合わせてご用意させて頂きます。 部屋割りなどにご希望がございましたらご連絡下さい。

The nearest station is Oji Station on the JR Line (18 minutes from Osaka Tennoji Station). It is about a 20-minute bus ride from Oji Station. If you are coming by train, we will pick you up at the nearest station. The last pick-up time is 7:00 PM. After that, please use the bus. There is a lovely hot spring nearby, or you can walk there. There is a barbecue facility in the garden. Convenient access to Kyoto, Osaka, Nara, Koyasan, and Yoshino.

Tsuru INN Kawakami Located in the Wakakusa area, about 10 min by taxi from Nara Station and 5–10 min by car to the UNESCO World Heritage Todai-ji. Guests can walk to the Wakakusa mountain top for panoramic views of the Nara Basin at night. This spacious house has been fully renovated for lodging, offering a luxurious Japanese-modern design that is stylish yet serene, creating a timeless and relaxing atmosphere.

Our guesthouse is located in the old town called Nara-machi. There used to be many traditional wooden townhouses known as Machiya. We restored Machiya while keeping the original structure in order to provide you with a traditional Japanese experience with local atmosphere.This house is for only private use and has only one floor with Japanese style room, shower room, washroom, sink and small garden.
