This is a beautiful, spacious, very well appointed house in a great neighborhood. It's priced accordingly! But to quote Ferris Bueller: "If you have the means, I highly recommend it". My family had a great time in Amsterdam using this as our home base and it was the perfect place to start and end our adventures each day.

I stayed for a month, and the apartment was great. It was so lovely to sit at the open windows overlooking the canal, the bed was very comfortable, I had everything I needed, and it's a short bike ride to anywhere. The tour of the upstairs was fascinating! Good to know: Part of the beauty of this place is that it's near the center, in the old section. That means there are canals everywhere, it has tons of character and history, and it's easy to get anywhere on foot or by bike. It also means that it is near a touristy area. Don't let that stop you! I don't like the hordes of tourists at all, but I was happy here. I simply rode a few blocks away at the busiest times to escape. And Herengracht itself in front of the building isn't crowded. Sure, canal tour boats glide by, but they're fun to watch. The couch is comfy, the chairs are less so, but two people can enjoy the couch. The kitchen is a little bit worn, but it was clean and served my purposes (I did not cook). I would return!

The house fits well the description and was easy to find. A bus stop only 4 minutes of walk and also there’s a supermarket with 7 minutes of walking. The place was clean, cozy and the cat is also really cute!

Ein Haus mit viel Charme und Persönlichkeit. Innen wunderschön designt im Retro-Stil. Wir mochten die Nähe zu Muiden und konnten Amsterdam sehr schnell erreichen. Als Optimierung würde ich vorschlagen, Lösungen zu finden, wie man seine Kleidung besser unterbringen kann. In Summe: wir hatten eine tolle Zeit.

Absolutely loved our stay at Jef & Mette's house, can't recommend it highly enough. The house is so cool, it has great character and feels like it's 'not just an ordinary house'. It's a very quiet residential neighborhood and felt safe, and there are supermarkets about 200m away. The tram stop for the city centre is about 200m in the other direction, so this is a great base for easy living and exploring Amsterdam. Jef and Mette were great hosts, very communicative, and they gave clear instructions for every part of our stay. We would happily go back, and would very much recommend it.

We really enjoyed our stay at Alina and Tony's home. We were traveling with our 14 month old so it was great to have a crib, high chair and toys for her to play with. The house was super spacious and comfortable and it was beautiful to stay next to the canal! Would definitely recommend staying here!

This house is ideally located just a 10-15 minute walk from the train station, providing convenient access to Amsterdam Central, Rotterdam, and the airport. It's family-friendly, stocked with plenty of toys for kids, making it a great choice for families. While the property offers a peaceful escape from city life, it's still close enough to enjoy urban amenities. However, the barbecue could use some maintenance for better usability. The house features one large bedroom and two smaller children's rooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a washing machine, creating a cozy atmosphere that truly feels like a home away from home.

Our group of 4 enjoyed Mieke’s accommodations. We cooked in for breakfast and dinner; grocery store close and kitchen well stocked. Comfortable livingroom and beds. Nice to have 2 bathrooms. The garden space outside added a touch of hominess, along with her adorable cats; Willem especially entertained us! Location was great with trams to city center only a block away. Very responsive.

Io e la mia famiglia abbiamo sogggiornato una settimana nella casa di Jos per poter visitare la Città. Con i mezzi pubblici è stato facile raggiungere sia l'aeroporto sia il centro con i vari musei. La casa di Jos è molto grande, comoda, ben arredata e pulita, è situata in un quartiere tranquillo vicino ad un lago con spiaggia. Non abbiamo conosciuto di persona Jos e la sua famiglia perché erano in vacanza nello stesso periodo, ma la comunicazione è stata semplice e tutte le indicazioni sono state chiare.

Een fijn huis met alle voorzieningen in de buurt. Tamara was heel vriendelijk, duidelijk in de communicatie en daardoor was het verblijf erg relaxed. Dank!

The apartment is very well-located. Rosie was lovely to deal with: very responsive and gave us excellent suggestions. The steep winding staircases to access the apartment and the one inside the apartment are perhaps not suitable for the infirm or elderly. The apartment wasn't super pristine, and a few things were in disrepair. Kind of like if you stayed at a friend's lived-in place, rather than a sterile hotel. The cats are funny and want very much to be where they shouldn't. Good mousers.

Anouk is a perfect host, friendly and immediately responsive to a question we asked during our stay. It’s a wonderful house for a family with children— a large, open, attractive but unfussy space with its own garden and easy proximity to a market. We were 3 generations, but we grandparents had no problems, since we entered on the ground floor and climbed only one flight of stairs to the bedrooms. A happy time.

Great place in a great location. House is just as described, and just a few steps away from the tram stop. Stairs might be a bit challenging for the elderly but it seems most houses in the city are the same. Try to use her bicycles to get around, it's a great way to see the city. Dieta has been a lovely host, always responsive to our queries. 10/10 would recommend!

We had a wonderful time at William and Christa property. The house was spacious, clean, and had all the amenities we needed for a relaxing getaway. Christa was incredibly responsive and accommodating, making the booking process and check-in a breeze. We especially enjoyed the beautiful front yard and backyard garden and peaceful neighborhood. We had an absolutely wonderful stay in Haarlem! The apartment was clean, cozy, and perfectly located near all the major attractions. The host was incredibly kind and responsive, always available to answer our questions and provide helpful recommendations. We felt very welcome and at home during our stay. The neighborhood was charming and peaceful, making it a great place to relax after a day of exploring. We have been to Utrecht several times. This was one of our favorite AirBnbs. We would return in a heartbeat. Enjoyed being along the canal. The apartment is actually much more quaint and attractive in person than what the photos indicate. There is a bit of a walk to the center of the historic district but quite manageable and enjoyable.

Fijn mooi rustig huis met voldoende ruimte om in te verblijven - ook met in ons geval 5 volwassenen. Mooi ingericht en alles is aanwezig

We had a family reunion in Haarlem, at Ilaria's lovely house. We enjoyed everything and were really at ease in the house. The flexible check-in and check-out helped a lot with our plans. Ilaria kindly took care of making us very comfortable. I definitely recommend this lovely house.

Marie's place was outstanding and we had a great stay. It is super quiet and comfy, shops with everything you need nearby, calm yet close to the center. Would love to come again!

Wir waren 3 ältere Frauen, welche die Unterkunft von Maren gebucht haben. Uns hat die sehr ruhige Umgebung äusserst gut gefallen, vor allem, dass wir nachts ausgezeichnet schlafen konnten. Auch wenn wir von der Central Station 15' mit der Tram fahren mussten und dann 5' zu Fuss, war das für uns absolut kein Problem. Wir haben nicht in der Unterkunft gegessen, aber es wäre alles vorhanden gewesen, um Mahlzeiten zu kochen. Allgemein hat alles gut geklappt und wir würden die Unterkunft jedem empfehlen.
