Created to be a cozy cabin to relax inside or enjoy the outdoors with a private patio, fire pit, hammock and grill, we hope our cabin feels like your home base for adventure as you explore Alaska’s natural playground!

Lots of local knowledge to help you in any way with ideas, restaurants, activities and directions and sometimes, adorable husky puppies to play with! Bike rentals available on property!

This dog-friendly hidden gem is located on Beck Hill just minutes from downtown Homer. Relax inside on the couch or bask in the sun on the deck while grilling your catch of the day. The quiet location is private and conveniently close to grocery stores, shopping, beaches, ski trails, hiking trails and the famous Homer Spit with it's mountainous, glacial backdrop.

House has a washer/dryer, chest freezer, fish cleaning area and a covered deck for outside dining and gear storage. This cabin offers a kitchenette with mini fridge. we supply water on the counter for cooking and washing. NO RUNNING WATER, WINTER stays have use of a old fashioned outhouse. SUMMER guest have access to our washhouse with shower. . We are a small family ranch/peony farm. Located 18 miles out of Homer, on East end rd. about a 30 min drive out of town.

Historic Russian Cabin With Ocean Views

The hand hewn log cabin was built in the late 1800's by Russian settlers and is located in the historic native/Russian settlement of Ninilchik. (An idyllic village that sits on the Cook Inlet, through which the lovely winding Ninilchik River runs.) 180 mile drive from anchorage and only 35 miles from famous Homer, Alaska on the Kachemak bay. You will have total privacy but if you need anything im a 5 minute walk down the road and always reachable by phone.

(Property is shared with a main house, another cabin, and yurt) but there is plenty of space for privacy.
