Our family of four stayed for eight nights. Worth every penny. I think it spoiled us from ever going back to a hotel. My daughter was able to do homework in peace. There was a massage chair for my husband who recently pulled his back. The home was spotless and well cared for. The little details were lovely- there was water available in the fridge at no additional cost which was perfect after a long day of running around, there were games for kids and the family to keep anyone from getting bored, and hygiene products if anyone forgot anything. It was also great to be able to sit at a table and eat normally instead of awkwardly sitting on beds at a hotel. We will definitely be returning.

Very clean, mattresses were super soft and comfy. We appreciated that there were things like paper plates, ramen, oatmeal..

I had an amazing stay at John's property! From the moment I arrived, John was a fantastic host—friendly, helpful, and always available to answer any questions. The accommodations were even better than the pictures! The lakeside location was stunning, and I loved having access to the kayaks for some fun on the water. The updated bathroom was a nice touch, adding a modern feel to the cozy space. Overall, this was a perfect getaway, and I can’t recommend John's place enough. I can’t wait to come back!

I've stayed in a few Airbnb's in Kenosha and 2 others in both Milwaukee and New Glarus. This was by far the best one I've been in for value for money and the location! It was super quiet (aside from the church bells every hour which I didn't mind) and was perfect for getting some remote work done. Only downside I experienced was the internet going super slow and even crashing at times For me, it was still manageable for the type of work that I was doing which I was able to make the most of my time there Looking forward to staying here again hopefully in the near future 😊

We had a wonderful stay at this comfortable lake house while our home was being renovated. The area is perfect, with plenty to walk to, and a great view of the lake and marina. The home was spotlessly clean, spacious, and very comfortable and inviting. Sue was a great help with whatever we needed and got back to us right away when we had a question. highly recommend.

This stay provided a relaxing and quiet atmosphere. Perfect space and amenities. Maria provided perfect communication and the location was safe and clean. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. The downstairs bedroom has an ensuite bathroom while the two bedrooms upstairs share a bathroom. The bathrooms has great amenities and are spacious as well. The kitchen was clean and had anything you could want or need to make a meal. Maria even thought of some other items like Tupperware and parchment paper. The coffee maker was serviceable. The gift basket was truly indulgent and appreciated. The big sofa was comfy and the tvs are the perfect size with any app you may want. While it was cold outside and I didn't get to enjoy the property, it was certainly still beautiful and lovely to enjoy my coffee and watch the snow in the mornings. I highly recommend this Airbnb. Thank you for letting me staying.

My family and I travel alooottt- across the US and across Europe, but this house was one of the most comfortable and cleanest places we've ever stayed at. The house was. beautifully decorated. It was easy to find and very conveniently located (5 mins from Carthage College). The host was proactive and welcoming. I highly recommend this place and would choose to stay here over any other hotels or rentals in the area!

Wonderful stay! Very homey. They had everything you could possibly need. Definitely in my top 5 Airbnb list. The host was very responsive. Not long of a drive to the Naval Station.

The photos are incredible but this place is even better in person. Cozy and spacious lay out, quiet area that feels very private. If you are a fan of this style of home you can't find a better place to stay. On top of all of that it had the best stocked kitchen I've ever stayed at. there were an abundance of spices, oils, etc.. for cooking. every part of the house was spotless and squeaky clean. I am honestly blown away by this airbnb. It is hard to describe the feeling you get when staying in a home like this. It has this warm nostalgic but still fashionable vibe. I cannot recommend staying here enough. I will be back again very soon!
