Guests also get FREE & exclusive use of a pontoon, 2 kayaks and paddle boat plus private dock from early May through late October (weather permitting). Swan Cottage is also very dog-welcoming. The yard is not fenced, however we provide ground stakes & cable ties.

Welcome! This charming little house is a repurposed chicken coop on the farm. Enjoy the quiet, country life with all the comforts from home. The Coop is located between the main house and the large barn on a small hobby farm. This is a working farm with large and small animals, however, there are no hens in the guest house! During your stay, you are welcome to wander through the barn and visit all the animals. We do not have a TV, however, the internet works great!

Lake Wabasis is about 2 miles long (Kent County's biggest) w/418 acres of primarily undeveloped, protected wetlands. And excellent fishing all year long.

Staying in a house designed by Frank Lloyd Wright is a bucket list item for fans of America's most acclaimed architect. The Amberg House was completed in 1911 at the pinnacle of Wright's Prairie Style influence. Though every Wright home is special, the Amberg House is a unique collaboration between Wright and Marion Mahony. Mahony worked with Wright from 1896 until 1909. A graduate of MIT, she was the first woman to be licensed as an architect in the US.

The only shared area is the enclosed backyard and guests even have their own private laundry. Majority of our guests take advantage of our full kitchen and toiletries. While this is not a luxury stay it offers good value considering the area.
