The barn was beautifully situated and very peaceful. We loved the family dogs and cats coming to visit us. The barn is right on the Cuckoo trail and so we enjoyed walking along enjoying the spring sunshine . A really lovely pub in Old Heathfield called The Star Inn is definitely worth a visit, it's warm, cosy and very friendly. The food was delicious so well worth the short walk from the barn. A couple of nights in this beautiful setting was just perfect.

Communication and instructions were great. The house is beautiful and the standard of the accommodation and fixtures and fittings were too. The welcome pack was really comprehensive - even included fresh strawberries! Lovely personal touches, really well equipped. Comfy beds and bedding. Gorgeous garden and surroundings. So much to see and do. Would really recommend it.

What a lovely accommodation, and Vivienne was super friendly and helpful. Vivienne met us on check in, showed us the accommodation and gave some recommendations for food and walks. We had plentiful food for breakfast and a well equipped kitchen so we could make dinner too. The bed was comfortable, the heating works well (although we visited during warm weather we barely used it).

We had the most wonderful stay at Alice and Alan's cozy cowshed! The space was incredibly warm and inviting, providing a perfect retreat for both of us. Alice and Alan were exceptional hosts, always available to offer assistance and making sure we had everything we needed. They even allowed us to use their beautiful garden, which was such a lovely bonus. One of the highlights was when Alice and Alan kindly offered to drop us into town, saving us the hassle of getting a taxi. They also gave us great recommendations for cabs to get home later on. The stay was extremely nice, and we absolutely loved every moment. We would 100% go back and highly recommend this wonderful spot to anyone looking for a cozy, relaxing getaway!

We had a really great stay at The Stables. It’s in a beautiful setting, and is an ideal place from which to explore the area. The accommodation is clean and comfortable, and Lucy was very welcoming. The on-site micro-bakery is not to be missed!

We had a fantastic as a family of four with two young children . The cottage was spotless, spacious, and very well located in a quiet area. The large garden was really nice, offering plenty of space to relax. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed, making our stay comfortable although beds were a bit too small. The host was very responsive and helpful—communication was smooth and any queries were answered promptly. Highly recommended for families or anyone looking for a peaceful vacation.

Wat een heerlijk verblijf hebben wij hier gehad. Emma is een ontzettend vriendelijke host, hartelijk ontvangst met tips over de omgeving. Een fijn huisje met een heerlijke tuin, compleet met BBQ en vuurschaal. Voor de kinderen (8&10) een leuke speelzolder en leuke spellen voor in de tuin.

My 5 year old daughter and I spent a night here and it was absolutely blissful. She woke up and immediately wanted to see the lambs and spend time with a dog wandering around. We will be back as both she and I enjoyed it so much. Charlotte was so kind and even gave me some toothpaste I'd forgotten. Book if you can!

Great peaceful surroundings and plenty to do with kids and adults. Dover Castle, Waterside for fishing, PYO and farm shops up the road and some great pubs in the area. Lisa was very helpful from start to finish. the barn was excellent and well equipped. We are a family of 4, but we're able to entertain an additional 4 adults, 2 children and a dog for some birthday celebrations. would recommend if you want a peaceful stay with plenty of outdoor activities with the family!

We had a perfect weekend stay whilst attending a wedding at Cliffe Church and Cooling Castle. The accommodation was a 5 minute walk to the church and 5 minute drive to Cooling Castle, which was extremely convenient with two small children. The accommodation was beautiful, surprisingly spacious and clean. The parking facilities were great and the accommodation was very easy to find. Very happy with our choice of the Cottage, very close to our own properties , so more than likely we will try and stay there again not because what i just said but its so peaceful as well and that is very important to us as a family, it also contained all and more desirable amenities you need. Perhaps if there is something I would add to the cottage service I personally would in a hot day of a guest arriving,( like us) I would make sure to leave the windows upstairs open to create a cooler ambience . When we arrived ( end of the day) it was just like in Dubai -) very hot! Many thanks

I visited there with my parents and my baby and we absolutely loved this place. Beautiful house with everything you need, should say more beautiful than the pictures. We were lucky to see sunshine and the snowfall both during our stay and with those large glass floor to ceiling windows it was pleasure. The house was very spacious and my baby loved it as he got so much to explore and running around. Tony was very helpful and responsive for any queries we had. We will definitely visit again.

This place is a fabulous, just what we needed for a long weekend away. Convenient to get to many surrounding places. Immaculate, clean accomodation and the provisions at check-in were a very welcome gesture. Nicole is a great host.

Wij, een gezin van vier, hebben enorm genoten van de prachtige Cow Shed. Een fantastisch huisje met een geweldig uitzicht en een prachtige ligging. Zeer centraal gelegen voor bezienswaardigheden en steden, maar toch midden in de natuur en heel privé. Wij komen graag nog eens terug!

We had a fantastic visit to Great Chart, a scenic village where my husband was born 74 years ago. The cottage was comfortable & charming , we loved sitting outside in the garden with family & friends. We are seasoned Airbnb travelers and this rental & the host, Charlie, & her lovely family, were the best!!

Sandras home was wonderful. The home is absolutely stunning with lots of space for everyone. The space was clean and inviting and amazing for hosting our family getaway. Sandra gracefully allowed our Dog to stay in her home and he loved it. The best part was the cows which greet you at the fence at the back of the home every other day. A wonderful home which was even better than described.

We really enjoyed our Easter week stay at the The Long Stable. Andrew and his wife were very welcoming and supportive hosts. The location is idyllic, very quiet and private, even if other farm buildings are nearby you won‘t be disturbed and can make the most of the huge terrace. The cottage is very tastefully furnished and everything is to a high standard. All mod cons are available and the kitchen is fully equipped so wie could enjoy cooking ourselves as well as trying out some of the many pubs and restaurants within easy reach by car. You can stroll around the farm or nearby woods at your leisure, we particulary enjoyed saying hello to the newborn lambs one of which we were allowed to feed as well. The farm is ideally located to visit the coast (recommending Rye Harbour Nature Reserve), National Trust Sites like Sissinghurst or Bateman or simply enjoy the countryside…you really are spoilt for choice. We highly recommend The Long Stable and would love to return for a longer stay.

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in ‘The little barn’. Die Unterkunft ist rundum sehr gut ausgestattet, Küchenutensilien, Spülmittel, Spiele etc. alles vorhanden. Wunderschöne, ruhige Lage, aber trotzdem zentral. Nicht weit zur Autobahn und nach Sevenoaks, von wo aus man eine direkte Bahnverbindung nach London hat. Sharron war sehr hilfsbereit und unkompliziert.

we highly recommend this 2 bedroom house in Margate. It is perfect for a couple with up to 2 children, has 2 double beds but one is smaller. It has all the amenities necessary for a holiday, we even cooked a couple of meals. It is located at walking distance from the beach and to the trendy beach avenue, with plenty of high quality bars and restaurants.

This is the third time we have stayed with Barrie as it’s convenient for local craft courses that we attend. Every time it is spotlessly clean, well equipped and comfortable. Barrie is a great host and more than happy to help when we have needed help.
