Beautiful spot much smaller in real life but because it was so well curated it didn’t even matter. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend to friends and family.

We had a wonderful stay at Kimiko’s Beach Loft! The space felt warm, welcoming and so so cozy with the wood burning fireplace. We had it going all weekend! The outdoor space was just as awesome as the indoor. Kimi and Scott thought of it all - we had everything we needed. We checked out some antique spots down the road, had a dip in the ocean, enjoyed the hot tub and cooked all weekend! It truly was a special weekend!

Jennifer’s place is exactly as shown in the pictures. Beautiful home and the surrounding woods and trails were amazing. Highly recommend and we will be back!

My friends and I had a wonderful stay. The host was very responsive before and during our stay, to accommodate our requests and make sure we were comfortable. Also gave us recommendations on places to visit around the area. The house was clean and tidy and just what we needed for our getaway, and the hot tub was big plus! Highly recommend.

Beautiful spot to stay. The home is stunning and the water front is so peaceful. It was raining when we visited but it didn’t matter as we loved to stay inside and take full advantage of the space. Will be coming back!

Our stay was wonderful and the location/property is ideal for a relaxing getaway. We didn't get to use the rec room, but made ample use of the hot tub which was very nice to relax in. Quiet space and the screened in portion of the back deck is great for spending some evening time under the stars without the hassle of bugs.

As someone who grew up in the Valley, I’m always on the hunt for those magical little getaways that feel like home—but better. We found just that in this Scots Bay getaway! It checked every single box for our family: peaceful vibes, breathtaking ocean views, a bubbling hot tub and easy-peasy access to Cape Split—perfect for hiking with our adventurous 5-year-old and our equally energetic pup. The place was spotless, super cozy, and our hosts were absolute rock stars when it came to communication. You can tell they’ve put a lot of heart into creating a welcoming space. Only tiny suggestions from a seasoned weekender: a few board games would be a lovely touch for rainy evenings, and an air fryer would be the cherry on top (but we usually BYO for longer stays anyway🤣). The hot tub? Glorious. A pergola over it would make it even more perfect for stormy soaks or cozy winter dips. All in all, we loved every moment and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend!

L’arrivée fut très appréciée avec le panier remplis de belles petites surprises. Quel belle attention. Vraiment une très belle vue , l’emplacement est magnifique. La maison très belle et très propre. Nous avons passé de très bons moments en famille. La seule recommandation serait d’arranger la cuve de la toilette car il faut toujours vérifier la chaîne sinon elle la cuve ne se remplit pas .

Magical location perched right on the lake. Super private. Absolutely spotless. Kitchen very well stocked with all sorts of dishes, bowls, cooking utensils. Surprisingly large bathroom (and so many clean towels and face cloths) Host was super responsive. Wood stove kept the place today warm all weekend. Loved that the deck deck was entirely gated so we could let our dog out. everywhere on We plan to return!

Beautiful location, great beach for rock collecting with low tide. Socal table restaurant was very close and delicious. Not far from Lobster Pound which we enjoyed. Cottage is rustic, initially not sure about the outdoor shower as the weather was cool but it was worth the experience. We kept the wood stove going as it was cool the first night. Not your typical Airbnb stay, but worth it!

We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful lake house. The property is absolutely stunning—immaculately landscaped, with a spacious lawn leading right to the lake and a lovely sandy beach. The grounds were ideal for families, with lots of room for the kids to run, play, and even ride their bikes on the hard surface areas. In the evenings, the adults enjoyed gathering around the fire pit—it was the perfect spot to unwind. Inside, the home was just right for our large family gathering. We had four couples and five little ones, and the space worked beautifully—comfortable, open, and thoughtfully laid out for both togetherness and relaxation. Caitlin was a fantastic host—so easy to communicate with, warm, and responsive. The whole experience felt more like being welcomed into someone’s home than staying in a typical rental. It was charming, cozy, and truly special. We’re already looking forward to the chance to return!

I had a lovely stay at David and Nancy's cottage. The cottage was roomy, spotlessly clean and fully equipped (the kitchen had a few items in it that I don't even have in my own kitchen). It was comfortable and convenient and David and Nancy were responsive, kind and generous. I would definitely stay with them again the next time I am in Hubbards. (I'd come back just for Nancy's homemade chocolate mints!)

Everything was wonderful at this cottage and guest house that accommodates 8 people! Despite the rain on the weekend we selected, we had a beautiful family getaway. Alex and family have a beautiful spot on a quiet lake. The cottage is open and fresh! They provide a fire pit with wood, games, toys, canoes, etc. but all we really needed was the space to gather and the gorgeous lake view and access. Alex provided excellent instructions and was very friendly and accommodating. We are truly grateful to have been able to enjoy such a lovely place!

The cottage was exactly what we were looking for. Great communication great service. We were there longer than most, but it was a very comfortable cottage.

Laura’s place was like paradise. Relaxing, quiet, clean, felt like I was at home but away from home. She is without a doubt, the most responsive person I’ve ever dealt with on Airbnb super accommodating, extremely kind. I can’t wait to book my next visit and I definitely cannot wait to go back there in the summertime. The downstairs was so much fun. I haven’t played pool in years Laura‘s places is also super modern and just absolutely stunning. I feel like I can’t say enough, everything was very easy to find. This place had everything you need. if you’re looking for a place to go relax with a beautiful view and have privacy, this is your spot.

Beautifully curated and well equipped home. Loved the refillable organic products, luxury bedding, comfortable beds, lots of fluffy towels. The kitchen had everything we needed and more - the vitamix was a welcome surprise as were the supplies needed to compost. Lots of outdoor seating and quiet places. The sauna was a treat. Would love to visit in the summer - the beach looked great, take a turn on the swing or relax in the hammock. Lots of room and parking. No children in our group, but the kitchen and basement were well stocked with dishes and activities for little ones. Owner was very responsive and accommodating. Would definitely recommend. (The little touches such as the dragonfly door handles were truly appreciated)

Rob’s lakeside cottage was beautiful! The cottage was well equipped and very clean. The outdoor space included a stunning stone patio, a fire pit and water equipment ( paddle board and floats) to enjoy the beautiful lake.

This location is perfect for exploring the area! Heather gave clear driving directions due to road closures. The house was cozy, we loved the wood fireplace. The dart board was a lot of fun! We had everything we needed.

The cabin was honestly bigger than i expected! The location is amazing, complete privacy, absolutely beautiful location for stargazing. The cabin is cozy, quick to warm up, has a fireplace and a BBQ, a deck with plenty of space and easy access to the lake. It also has all the equipment you could possibly need. The hikes in the surrounding areas were breathtaking, we had an absolutely wonderful time. The cabin itself was the best value for money i have ever received on AirBnB. Michael sent the instructions and all the information we needed in time, he was extremely quick to respond whenever we had a question and checked in with us to make sure everything was ok. The only thing i would mention is to pick a slightly more raised vehicle than our sedan as the road to the cabin (and frankly, the roads in Nova Scotia in general) is a bit rough. All in all, it was a wonderful stay and I cannot recommend this place enough!

we were pleasantly surprised at how clean and well thought out the place was. The furniture was comfy (second bed was very creaky) and the Woodstove was the perfect touch.
