Renee’s house is right in the heart of Kihei. Its ocean facing and had this cute little balcony where we spent most of our time looking at whales. She had this very powerful binoculars at her home that got us addicted to whale watching over the horizon. There is a beach right outside the house. It had such pretty sunset views that my friend decided to propose his girl friend there! The house is located right by the shopping market and food trucks that are open till 8 in the night. Everything is walking distance from the house and if you need to take your car out, it’s right on the Main Street. Renee is a great host that kept on proactively checking on us. She made sure that everything went smoothly with us. I’m very grateful to have booked with her and her cute little house will always be very special to me.

Pamela’s place exceeded our expectations in the best way. It felt like a hidden gem, and honestly, we tried to extend our stay because we were enjoying it so much! Sadly, it was already booked (no surprise), but Pamela was super communicative and kind throughout, and we totally understood. This place has actually inspired us to build our future home with the same layout! Our check-in situation was a bit unique due to some schedule changes on our end, but Pamela went above and beyond to accommodate us. She made the process seamless, and the directions to get to the “Kula Jewel” were spot on—no guesswork needed. Pamela was kind enough to meet us in person and personally show us how to use the hot tub. Although we didn’t get a chance to enjoy the hot tub or pool this time around(amazing ocean and Maui valley views from here too!,) we’re already planning our next staycation and will definitely make the most of them then. Dee’s condo was everything my husband and I could have asked for! It was fully stocked with everything we needed—sunscreen, ocean gear like chairs, boogie boards, and coolers, plus plenty of games and every kitchen item imaginable. There were also more than enough towels, along with condiments and spices, which made our stay even more convenient. Beyond the amenities, the condo itself was beautifully updated and decorated—so much so that neighbors in other units commented that they wished they had booked Dee’s place instead! We stayed for eight nights and had zero complaints. Even though we’re usually picky about beds that aren’t ours, this one was incredibly comfortable. To top it all off, Dee was so helpful and friendly throughout the entire process, making sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. If you’re looking for the best spot in Papakea, **this is it!** We would absolutely stay here again.

It was a smooth stay and check out, and excellent location as well in Kihei. So much good food and beaches only a short drive or within a 30 min radius. Mahalo 🌺

Had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Elise and Bruce's condo. Explored different beaches (walkable and drive to), did some biking, hiking, many books read, weather perfect as it usually is in S Kihei, enjoyed sunsets at the pool, and cribbage matches on the lanai after a day outside. Appreciated some food staples already in the cupboards and Safeway store not far away. Tried a Bruce-recommended Sushi restaurant (Avo was the name, I believe in Wailea) which we liked and also pre-booked at Star Noodle in Lahaina to enjoy another wonderful asian meal, otherwise cooking in and at the condo community BBQ. Well set up for a small family and recommend it.

Great! Kihei location right in the middle of town across the street from “The Cove” best beginner surf spot on the island. Nice neighbors who live there, nice view from room and patio of the ocean and surfing conditions and you really don’t need a car if you’re parking it in Kihei. You can walk to Foodland grocery, food carts, bars and restaurants and the beach is right across the street! Highly recommend for a couple or family of 4 with kiddos, they will love it. Planning on staying at the same unit soon.

John’s place was fantastic—clean, cozy, and felt just like home. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the essentials, including utensils and pans, making it easy to cook. The unit was spotless and located in a peaceful resort close to some of the best beaches in Kihei. John was proactive with communication and shared all the necessary details ahead of time. The unit also felt very safe and secure. Highly recommend!

Lily's place is just as described. Comfortable and had everything our family of 5 needed for 1-week stay. Kitchen was well stocked and we appreciated that all the beach stuff was provided. Lily was very communicative. Close to many beaches, restaurants, and stores.

Tami was awesome and easy to communicate with prior to the trip and once we arrived. We had everything we needed and the space was beautiful and homey. I would 1000% recommend for anyone looking to come visit Maui. My fiancé and I want to thank Tami for everything and wish her and her family the best! Mahalo!
