This place is wonderful! Lots of spiritual iconography surrounding the grounds and inside the building. It was relaxing and comfortable with an amazing view. The amenities were very cool as well, I enjoyed the jacuzzi and outside shower as well as the front pool. The property was very calm with fishponds, gardens, and animal nests. My wife and I used contact information there to hire two massage therapists to come to a special building on the property. We got 90m lomi lomi and a special cranio - sacral massage. I highly recommend Tanmayo and Adrian her massage partner, they were wonderful. Amazing views and friendly receptionists in the office made our trip so memorable. The only drawback was the many tiny creatures that were in the building. Being from Oahu I know all too well that this is common, luckily the ants there are not tiny fire ants and do not sting. There is also a locked door leading to a hallway that connects to another building. It was open one day, nothing was stolen.

We had a lovely stay in the cottage. It was charming, well maintained, nicely appointed, great location, and had a very comfortable bed. The hosts thought of all the special details. Even though it was quite close to some shopping, dining, and beaches, it did seem rather private and secluded which was exactly what we were looking for. We loved the openness, great natural lighting, and the sounds of nature but at the same time I’m glad that I had ear plugs and an eye mask for sleeping. Thanks for previous reviews that mentioned the nearby restaurant, Nuka, because we had a fantastic dinner there. We hope to have a lengthier stay at the cottage someday.

We had a great stay. The place was clean, neat, and cozy. It was a good location for the activities we had planned. There are restaurants and cafes that are walkable or a short drive. The bay and surrounding area is wonderful. We were able to get to great swim spots early in the morning because they were so close. We highly recommend staying here.

We had such an amazing stay! From the very beginning, the host was incredibly kind, professional, and quick to respond—any questions we had were answered almost immediately. You can really tell they care about their guests and take pride in creating a great experience. The house was clean and beautifully maintained, with so many thoughtful touches that made it feel extra welcoming. They clearly pay attention to detail, from the way everything was set up to the little extras that made the stay feel special. The location was perfect—close to everything but still quiet and relaxing. And the amenities were honestly above and beyond anything we expected. We would absolutely stay here again, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for an stress-free, comfortable, and enjoyable trip.

We had a fantastic and memorable stay at Doug's place in Kihei. You can't beat the location--right in Kihei yet set back down a private road and right on the beach. The views out of the windows are amazing, and within a short walk your feet are in the sand, at the ocean's edge where turtles are peaking their cute little heads out consistently. We even encountered a turtle lounging on the beach! The house is stocked with the basics: plates, cups, coffee maker, toaster, nice towels, etc. The beds are comfortable and with the windows open and the fans on, the island breeze keeps the house very comfortable. Doug also has beach chairs and an umbrella for easy lounging. Highly recommend Doug's place!

We LOVED everything about this location. Iao Valley is so special and the location of the AirBNB itself was perfect for getting all around the island. We visited at the end of March and never ran the AC once. It was hot during the afternoon but the morning/late afternoon/evening cool off, with the winds blowing into the valley were so perfect. AND the birdsong in the morning was so beautiful that I recorded it and sent it to my family (minus the rooster song- but that's just Maui living for ya). If you want a good cocktail check out Ester's Fair Prospect, they have a nice selection of liquor and a fun vibe, located in the city of Wailuku right next door to this place. Also we loved the goodies that were left in the fridge. The pineapple on the island is SOOO good. Sooooooo good. Forget the banana bread hype... just eat the pineapples and bananas fresh! Mahalo!

We very much enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to book Jill’s AirBnb again. The furniture is lovely. The bed was very comfortable with good quality linens, blankets and pillows. The decor was very nice. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped with everything you could need and with good quality cooking and eating utensils and dinner ware. The location is quiet. The view is great. We saw sea turtles every day as well as many whale sightings right from the lanai. The air conditioning worked perfectly with AC in the bedroom and in the living dining room. Thank you Jill for being such a great host!

Thanks for the perfect stay. I have been to Molokai 4 times before this stay, and enjoyed this location the most.
