We had a great time at Heather's place. The cottage was decorated beautifully. We love the hot tub and the backyard lighting around it. Everything was set up with a timer and it's pretty good for us to not have to worry about it. It's so good to have two firepits and the supplies to start the fire. The local convenient store is a short drive and has everything we need when we ran out of supplies. Coffee, hot chocolate, tea and all the snacks are nice treats. It is very cozy and the surrounding is gorgeous. The heater in the house can be quite annoying at night for someone staying on the daybed. We were warned about the noise in the instructions but couldn't do much about it or change the sleeping arrangement. The beds in all rooms are all very comfortable and if the heater issue can be somehow addressed, that would be much better. (the heater just turns on and off way too frequently) Overall, we had a great time! Heather and Michael are very friendly and responsive hosts. Thank you!

Was the 10-hour round trip worth it? Absolutely, without a doubt! Even though the weather wasn't ideal, it only added to the charm of this beautiful cabin—honestly, we felt like we were in a cozy winter wonderland. I can't think of a single negative moment from our stay. Even our cats would agree. Alison and James have truly created something special here, and their attention to detail made this one of the best Airbnb experiences we've ever had. Not to mention all the incredible visits we got from the local wildlife. Communication with Alison was seamless, which truly helped ease our nerves about visiting a new place while navigating through challenging weather conditions. We’re already looking forward to coming back and experiencing the treehouse in all its glory (hopefully without the freezing rain next time!). Cabin Bjorn was everything we expected - and more! Set on a beautiful property surrounded by tall trees and the Irondale River, it truly is a slice of paradise. We were so fortunate to spend four days here, relaxing and unwinding. Cassidy’s a fantastic host and we hope to be back this summer!

Wanda’s cozy little cabin was the perfect spot for a relaxing winter getaway! Her place exceeded the photos, as soon as we walked in Wanda already had the wood stove fireplace going so that the place was warm and cozy when we arrived. She was extremely pleasant and responsive when we had questions and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We loved it so much we didn’t want to leave! Would definetley recommend for anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway.

I have experienced a few airbnbs to date and must say that I have yet to experience anything unpleasant. That's because of the incredible integrity of hostesses like Charlotte, overseeing places like this sweet gem: true to its advertisement, and very well laid out instructions which kept us from having to inquire about anything. We came to create and we came to celebrate our 3rd anniversary. My husband and I are calling this our "Oasis-Escapis" and plan to bring more monumental celebrations and creative endeavours here. Location was perfect for a weekend away! Cottage was stunning, extremely clean and organized the pictures don’t do it justice. The linens, beds, furniture, hottub, sauna, everything was well kept. The kitchen was fully stocked of every appliance and kitten tool we may need during our stay. Hosts were very quick to respond with answers to any questions we had. Would definitely recommend this Airbnb. We had the most relaxing weekend ever!

An excellent little A-frame! A great place to get away and relax. Everything was clean, and the hottub, fireplace, and stove all ready and easy to use. Boardgames and movie projector offer fun indoor activities. The property also has enough room for short walks in the forest. It looks like they are in the process of adding additional cabins close to cabins #3 and #4.

I had a great time staying here and have already looked at when I can come back. It was beautiful and so peaceful. The view was great and I thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub. The bed was super comfortable as well. The door was a little difficult to get into the first time but he gave instructions on how to get in another way. Loved the little touches like leaving a treat for my dog and also having extra dog toys.

Mike and Rosa were great hosts. very friendly and kind. The cabin was extremely quaint and peaceful. The scenery was beautiful. Would definitely recommend to a friend and would love to stat here again.

Great place for a quite peaceful getaway. The hosts took great care of us. The cabin had everything we needed for our duration of the stay. Ansolutely loved our stay. Points for bbq facilities prividing us as much firewood as we wanted keeping us warm and cozy the host’s attention to detail with regards to meeting customer’s needs. spotless, clean showerroom

Absolutely amazing, we had great plans, but the ice storm and the cozy fireplace changed those plans. Hermann and Tracy were an absolute blast! Super chill, and super friendly, we would come back just to spend time with them! We had a cute visitor to come check up on us as well! We hope to be back, thank you hosting us Hermann and Tracy!

What a beautiful place to visit. Plenty of trails to hike and explore with our dogs . The cabin was so clean and cozy . It was nice to see a few of the farm animals as well. Highly recommend the ranch .

This place exceeded all our expectations. The host is phenomenal. His responses were always fast, extremely friendly and understanding. He was very accommodating with our date changes (due to a military move) and made our process super easy. The place is stunning. Even better than the pictures. It’s open, spacious, with lots of modern, high end touches. I have already been recommending this place to all my friends. It’s a must stay- in the winter or summer. My partner and I really enjoyed our weekend at Etienne’s cottage. The island was so interesting to explore and we hiked many trails. The cottage was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for a cosy weekend! We didn’t realize when booking that the main house was only a few hundred feet from the cottage but we still had privacy. In the summer, if other people rented the second cottage and you were all outside I do think that privacy would go down. Otherwise, we loved all of it and would highly recommend!!

Our second stay at Nicks retreat, just as great as the first time! 40 mins drive to Algonquin park, cute bakery and shops in maynooth and a large yard for a full game of football

We had the perfect stay while at “Rowe’s Cabin” starting the new year in a quiet and peaceful setting. The hosts shared the story of the land and the cabin, including its history, adding to the experience and atmosphere for us that we really valued. They recommended going to Barron Canyon and we made sure to make a stop on our way out and it was the perfect ending to or trip, we were the only ones on the trail making it so much more whimsical. We snowshoed around the cabin and quietly sat in the window, playing uno, in the evening watching deer and wildlife coming up to the cabin for an hour or two. It had snowed the day we got there so it felt extra disconnected and relaxing. The hosts made sure we felt comfortable and safe in the cabin, we often are out in the woods during all times of the year and the hosts make this cabin experience in the woods fun and within reach to anyone new to the being in the woods or have more experience in the woods.

My husband and I wanted a quick getaway , somewhere rustic,quiet and close to water. We found Janet’s cabin just what we were looking for. Everything from the check in to the amenities met our expectations. Would definitely recommend Alexanne cottage rentals for your getaway adventure. We feel totally relaxed and rested ! We had a great stay at Quianna's cozy and warm little cabin. The cabin was clean and well kept. She informed about the shops and restaurants nearby and that they shutdown early so we could plan accordingly. Best place to stay while you explore the Algonquin park highway 60 corridor.

Really nice place and very friendly host. It’s a beautiful spot for friends, couples or family with kids. A nice escape from the city for a weekend.

Ali's place was a great get away for couples! Very peaceful location, plenty to do at the cottage and nearby locations. Do keep in mind though there is no wifi and cell reception is weak, though they do provide a signal booster when needed. Highly recommended!

This Romantic Cabin is a must to go visit , it is in spotless conditions and there is lots to do around , surrounded with beautiful forest view , inside you have everything you ever wanted staring from kitchen items and spices down to sunglasses , very well oriented and easy to use , nice bathtub with hot and cold water , we never ran out of power or water plenty to use. Beautiful fire pit with lots of wood to use, Peter is very helpful host and the best host out there , and will respond immediately if you needed help with anything. Instructions are straight forward. My girlfriend and I are really looking forward to coming back to this beautiful romantic cabin !!!! ITS A MUST TRY !!!!

This is a wonderful and cozy cabin experience for a group of 4. The place has a lovely history and is preserved that way with attention to aesthetics that take you back in time. Debbi is a warm host and although we didn’t get to meet in person she was quick to respond and provided all the necessary details during our stay. Good parking space, private location and beautiful nursery and nature around the property. Highly recommend staying here if you are visiting the Algonquin provincial park during the fall season. Had a wonderful stay, the cabin was absolutely perfect. Very cute, clean and well appointed. I will definitely be back. I strongly urge vacationers to try Honeys Diner, down the Rd, delicious breakfasts and the Woodview convenience store has all your last minute items that you may need, not to mention very yummy locally made cheesecake and butter tarts. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ -Linda 🙌
