Walk to the observation bench at the top of the biggest 50 ft waterfall. Follow the trail behind the falls. The Trail House is perfectly placed among the trees with many tall windows to take advantage of the gorgeous views. The large 2-tiered deck has two separate sitting areas. Hike, rock climb, bike, cave, kayak, fish, swim at the base of the waterfalls or sit and relax. Do it all, do absolutely nothing, or a little of both here at the Trail House. Hosts live upstairs and are available for any assistance you may need. Apartment has its own carport so you can park your car under cover. Washer and dryer in the apartment.

Drive 4 miles to downtown Chattanooga to enjoy some of the best restaurants, art and music in the south, and then retreat to our one-room, tiny cabin on a private two acre wooded lot on the side of Lookout Mountain. Walk out the front door and onto Glenn Falls trail and explore the year-round majesty of Lookout Mountain. 10 minutes from Rock City and Ruby Falls.

Big Living in the Little House

Trade traffic jams for 2 lane country. Only 10-20 min from downtown. But what we call “going to town” is driving to Flinstone for gas or church. Near Chattanooga, hiking, hang t gliding, 10-20 min to Cloudland Canyon, Rock City, Incline, Sunset Rock, Ruby Falls, TN Aquarium, with Lookout Mtn’s bluffs as backdrop.
