Beautiful cottage in a lovely location. The cottage was well kept and very homely. It was ideal for our family with everything we needed. The location was fantastic. Great walks for the dogs, both at the cottage and nearby (some recommended by the owner). As well as close to a number of child friendly locations and activities for our 7 year old. A large Tesco was nearby as well as some great restaurants. We found it very relaxing and enjoyed watching the garden birds, red squirrel, and local deer. The owner was very helpful, with quick responses, and all relevant information provided in advance. The only point we have to note was the limited water pressure for the shower. The owner did make us aware of this in advance of the visit. Although low pressure, it was also still sufficient, clean, and worked so we could have a shower. Thanks again to Ashley for all her support throughout and her beautiful holiday home.

Beautiful cottage, with absolutely everything you need. Comfy and spotlessly clean. The garden is lovely to look out on from the conservatory when eating. Hot tub in the pretty garden was lovely day or night. Eva was a great host, providing lots of info on checking in etc. The location is really perfect as well, 2 mins walk to the beach, about 30 along the beach to Chanory point, lovely fairy glen walk along burn to beautiful waterfalls. Beach cafe 2mins away and cafe/restaurant Crofters (which you can sit in our takeaway) less than 10. 2 Playparks within a few mins walk as well. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful family break! We loved the outdoor space and the beds were super comfortable! We made use of the hot tub and BBQ and enjoyed days out to Stonehaven and St Cyrus beach.

Amazing host, who completely made us feel at home. Couldn't of asked for better communication and as for the property , unbelievable. Prime location, and to have an extra warm sauna, extra cold cold plunge, working jacuzzi and games room is almost unheard of. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay . Oli

We absolutely loved our stay, and can’t recommend Dalnaglar Cottage enough. The cottage was well equipped, warm, and spacious. We stayed over Christmas and had everything we needed to make the perfect Christmas away from home. The area was fantastic, with walks from the front door - we loved the lochan and forest walks. And the hot tub was a great extra addition! The surroundings are so quiet and beautiful. And it’s just a 30 minute (stunningly beautiful) drive to Braemar.

We absolutely loved our stay at this gorgeous renovated cottage. We loved the decor and feel of the cottage, it was so cosy and comfortable and we loved having the indoor fire. Everything was just perfect. The owners are lovely and helped with everything we needed. Cute towns nearby to explore so it made for a perfect couple of nights on our travels.

Laura’s place was wonderful. She was also an accommodating host, which we really appreciated. The place was beautiful and completely spotless. We really recommend ❤️

What an incredible getaway from the world! Very idyllic, country living. The home felt super cosy and homely. Eggs from the chickens and marmalade in the kitchen waiting for our arrival was a lovely touch! Beds were all very comfortable and we all had great night sleep each night. We had a fantastic stay here! The cottage is lovely and immaculate! Rhona was really proactive with communication and gave us great recommendations for nearby restaurants and cafes. The location is beautiful! Just a few steps to a lovely and peaceful beach and 10 minutes walk into town. We hope to be back!

Plain and simple, this was THE best air b’n’b we have ever stayed in. Everything about it. The location and the club and grounds are just beyond stunning. Breathtaking views. Between the back view of the highland club facing Loch Ness to looking over your shoulder to see Loch Ness, just amazing. The cottage itself while not a part of the main building was perfect. All the amenities needed and plenty of space for the four of us. Waking up to the snow on the lawn outside was beautiful. The hamper on arrival was so helpful for our 3 nights there. The board games, fire place and sporting equipment was great. The games room and especially heated pool inside was amazing to relax and look out to the snowy mountains. Honestly, was sad to leave and could have stayed there another week! Worth every cent. Our two kids were in heaven.

The cottage was very comfortable and well equipped. Lovely little details in the decor and a super powerful shower. Kathryn was friendly and helpful. Very happy to recommend the cottage.

Really lovely little cottage, very peaceful location and stunning views out the back. Kitchen beatiful and stocked with the essentials (salt, pepper, oil, plenty of pots and pans). Only slight downside would be a very squeaky bed, comfortable enough but noisy.

We had a truly memorable and relaxing stay at Old Mains Cottage — everything was perfect, and we really appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout. The scenery and peaceful surroundings were exactly what we needed, and we thoroughly enjoyed exploring the area.

We loved staying at Woodside, it had such a good feel to the place, really warm and comfortable, exactly what you’re after on a break away. Stunning surroundings, lovely garden and a well thought out and cared for home, really lovely! We’ll definitely be back and will recommend to friends and family thanks x

This cottage is just beautiful! Set in a wonderful quiet and colourful garden, the house is comfy, cosy, immaculate and full of character. Such a relaxing time was had by both of us. Would return again and again, as others have done!

Pam and Alyssa were very helpful and flexible - and left us some goodies including fresh eggs of varied size and colour. The cottage is pretty and very well kitted out - very clean and comfortable. The location is really special - on the side of the glen, unbelievably quiet. Just pheasants, kites, buzzards, rabbits, sheep, deer and a stoat. We had sunny blue skies and went walking from the cottage every day. Hills, fields and forests everywhere you look. We both felt that 3 weeks there would have been good for us. Thanks again to Pam and Alyssa for being excellent hosts. I hope that we'll be able to return soon.

Hele fijne tijd gehad. We hadden een klein probleempje met ons matras en dit is meteen opgelost door de host. Super huisje, we waren graag nog langer gebleven. Wat een fijne plek! Echt een aanrader voor natuurliefhebbers. Nogmaals dank voor de fijne tijd🫶
