Had a fabulous 2 nights at the cottage with my Mum. The cottage was cosy, warm and the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed cooking a meal in one night and the other we drove 5 minutes to the local pub which served great food. We enjoyed 2 days hiking, the location was perfect for us. Coming back to a hot tub was the best feeling when you legs and feet are aching! The cottage it surrounded by fields and sheep, it was absolutely stunning. Amy was really helpful with any questions we had. Would highly recommend!

A really lovely accomodation that met our needs. Spacious caravan that easily accomodared 2 adults, 3 teenagers and 2 dogs. We felt at home there and it was really well equipped. The site where it is situated is idyllic and beautiful with lovely walks and beaches. We qould love to return for a longer stay to explore more of this beautiful piece of Scotland. Thank you for having us!

We had a lovely stay in Mallard - it was such a cosy place to stay. Quiet and peaceful with just what you needed, and a very comfy bed. Showers were excellent - hot and lots of pressure, location perfect, very peaceful and our little doggie loved it. Marion was a great host, upgraded us at our request when we realised Mallard was free! (Originally stayed in Teal which was also lovely). Can’t fault it - we have already booked to come back in June! We had a lovely 4-night stay at Teapot Cottage over Easter 2025. The property was clean, comfortable, and had everything our family of five needed. The location was peaceful and picturesque—perfect for a relaxing break. The hot tub was a highlight—clean and ready to enjoy on arrival which was great for unwinding in the evenings. Inside, everything was well-equipped, from the kitchen to the cosy living areas. Communication from the host, Lammisa, was excellent throughout. Clear instructions were provided, and she was quick to respond to any questions. We’d happily recommend this place to others and would definitely return for another family getaway. Thank you again for a lovely stay!

Absolutely perfect! We love staying here, it has everything you need to feel immediately at home, relaxed and comfortable. The surrounding countryside is just beautiful and the views from the hot tub are what makes staying here even more special! Catherine and Ian are very attentive hosts and Catherine was very responsive to any questions we had. We love this cottage and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, private, relaxing and very special place to stay in the Lake District.

We had a fantastic time at Rockliffe, helped by sunshine all day long for a week! The hosts, Julian and Theo were very friendly and helpful, they even showed us around their beautiful garden! The bungalow is fabulous, clearly been recently renovated, with excellent facilities, cooker, washing machine, plenty of hot water etc. The beds were very comfortable. There is an outside covered area at the back of the bungalow, completely safe and ideal for leaving bikes, shoes etc. There is a large garden to use, with table for al fresco dining, and lovely lawn with garden chairs, mainly for sun bathing for us! The beach is a short walk away, and it was great to cool off after long hot days! Dave

We absolutely loved our Christmas at Seaglass Cottage. The hosts were great, answered any questions, gave us detailed instructions for check-in and even put up a Christmas tree and decorations for us. We were very lucky with the weather, enjoying walks along the beach right outside, we even found some seaglass (we felt like children!). The property was very clean, the bedding smelled so fresh, the kitchen had everything you might need, very clean bathroom and handy downstairs loo. Every evening we would sit in the cosy conservatory enjoying a glass of wine, watching the sun go down, people walking along the beachpath with their dogs and then into the lounge for a real log fire. It was perfect and we can't wait to return!

Another wonderful stay at Red Stables. The views from the lounge and hot tub are to die for, you're absolutely in the middle of the countryside and it's so quiet and peaceful. Head to the tub to completely wind down or stay connected via the high speed WiFi if you must! You can stream movies or your favourites on the internet connected Tv. Plus there's a great Farm Shop and Cafe five minutes away in the car. Highly recommended.

For what our group wanted it was perfect not a bad word to say about the place, perfect or group weekend away in the country side just what a place!
