You'll be a short 2 minute drive/7 minute walk from a public beach access with lifeguard (May-Sept). Enjoy the rocking chairs on the covered top deck and dry entry with gas grill area downstairs. Outdoor attractions like the Wright Brother's Memorial & Jockey's Ridge are minutes away, as are grocery stores, restaurants, mini golf, movie theater and more.

Also, big 15’x 36’ heated pool next door at our residence, shared with us at times. In 2026, pools will be open 4/10-10/10. Hot tub at Blue Turtle is on second deck, and not shared. Only 10-15 minute walk to Skyline Beach , or 5 minutes drive to the Chicahauk Beach. Easy traffic -free access to nearby shops, grocery stores and restaurants. Dog and family friendly.

The Live Oak Cottage is a beautiful guest house situated under sprawling live oak trees. The suite and main house was originally a US Coast Guard Lifesaving Station built in 1901 - and moved to its current location in the 60s. The suite has been restored to bring it up to date with modern amenities, while retaining its rustic charm. A kitchenette, with fridge, toaster, plug in cook top + more.
