Takeshi is a great host and he is there when you need him, He's very nice and willing to share all he knows about the area to make your stay as memorable as possible. Also, the shower and bath in the courtyard is absolutely wonderful. We had a great stay!

9人での滞在でお部屋を探しておりました。海も近くおしゃれでとても素敵なお家でした。BBQを計画しておりまして、立派なコンロもあり外に冷蔵庫もあり快適に楽しいBBQができました。 テレビも大画面で、迫力あるゲームを楽しむことができました。お風呂も広くこんな生活が毎日できたらなと思いました。

The host was very responsive to our queries and assisted us. The place was accessible and near the train stations and convenience stores.

One of the highlights of our 15 days Japan trip. I was looking for an authentic Japanese style home and reasonably easy to access public transport. This property is perfect. It was like right out of Doraemon. The wooden architecture, tatami flooring, 2 sit out areas with modern amenities like good 24 hrs hot shower and bath tub was a cool find for us. Wish we stayed there for more duration. Walkable to grocery store, 7 eleven, mall and metro. Highly recommend!!

Spacious, elegantly furnished and very peaceful. We loved the house and its location - right next to the Tōdai-ji temple and the Deer Park. We had a bit of an issue entering the house as the code given to us was incorrect … but was just a little hiccup in our overall stay. I would wholeheartedly recommend this house to anyone coming to Nara. We stayed 3 days and we could have definitely stayed longer!

Very nice, traditional house with many bedrooms and bathrooms. The heated floors were nice and heat pumps in each room for heating and cooling to everyone’s individual preferences. The beds were quite hard but we slept fine and there are NO mirrors, just fyi. We did use the washer but the drying function was weak so factor in time to lay clothes out to dry completely. Also be aware that there are many steps throughout and the stairs are steep. Something to consider for children and older guests.

Lovely time at Kyoto House! A really fun space, mix of classic Japanese and western style. The doorways are a little low if you’re tall but really no complaints. Would stay again!

We had a great stay here with 11 adults. The layout is unique with little windows, doors, and other mysteries throughout the home. It is very old and should be preserved where possible, but it could use some extra upkeep. Many of the sliding doors and windows are stuck or damaged, the gutter is full of leaves, lightbulbs are mismatched, there's some unfinished drywall in the kitchen - just minor things like this. With some extra attention, it could be a luxury property. Regardless, we recommend this place. Thanks for having us!

Our stay at Yanbin’s place was great! We really felt at home, at a Japanese home! Place is great, location was awesome! Away from the tourists but still super close to any action Kyoto offers! Yanbin was super friendly, always willing to help and put up with all my questions! Honestly a great place, plenty of room, comfortable and great location! Our kids were very careful around the house, but with so much space it was really great! Everyone had its own corner in the house to enjoy their reading, playing a game, reading a book or sipping a coffee/tea/sake! Highly recommended without a doubt! Thank you Yanbin, see you next time!

A wonderful stay! The apartment has lots of little spaces that make it seem bigger than it actually is. 3 good bedrooms, including a tatami mat room. Well stocked kitchen, and a good sitting area. The hot tub is the highlight, very relaxing after a long day. Most of all, it is easily positioned to get around the city by train, and especially the EXPO site. It is 15minutes by subway.

It was truly wonderful to stay at this beautiful home. There was plenty of space for the five of us. The location is just the right distance to the tourist spots. Easy to travel to yet still have the distance away from the craziness. The home itself is clean and comes with so many amenities. It was nice to make breakfast for the family at the full kitchen before the start of our busy day of visiting then relax at the deep bath at night. With the 3 1/2 bath, we never had to wait. Super Donki is very close for tax-free shopping and everyday needs. Either go early morning or very late at night. It can get crazy crowded after all the stores or attractions closed. Although there are two 24hrs supermarkets close by, I prefer to ride the bike to Life which close at 12 or the 24 hr supermarket next to it. Again, so many options to choose from with the location of this wonderful home. If I visit Osaka again, 心宜’s home is def my first choice.

Nice place, and we could enjoy the 2 cars parking in front of the unit, 2 shower room, it's very convenient to my family.

Very good host and the place is very clean and new. The car bay is easy to park and there are convenient stores just 2 minutes by walk. I would stay there again and highly recommended travellers to stay there.

Our family of five chose this as our basecamp in Kyoto, and it was a good choice. The neighbourhood was quiet even though this was next to a larger road - no problems with noise at all. The bus connections are good and the taxi with Go-app works perfectly. Grocery shops nearby, not too crowded, plenty of restaurants and a nice local feeling to the area.
