We visited this place as family of 6. The house is very quaint and the bedrooms were really spacious and perfect. The property is managed very well and the housekeeper Mercy was extremely helpful. She even made us fire in the indoor pit for the last night. All the water heaters worked perfectly and every room had a tiny room heater as well. Great place to stay. We did have a little difficulty in locating the property but the housekeeper guided us properly.

What truly stood out was the delicious food prepared there. Every meal was flavorful and satisfying, and the barbecue was a real highlight of the stay. The evenings around the bonfire, enjoying good food and great company, created unforgettable memories. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in Kodaikanal.

Stay was awesome, we loved it and will definitely visit again. But I wouldn’t recommend the food they provide @ the place. We had dinner & breakfast, both were terrible & overpriced.

Had a great stay at Lilly’s Cottage in Kodaikanal. The place is clean, well-maintained, and perfect for a quiet getaway. The outdoor seating area is a big plus — ideal for enjoying the weather or sitting around a campfire in the evening. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful stay in the hills.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We were 13 people and occupied the entire villa. Every mentioned amenities are accurate. Rooms are very spacious. Interiors attract the most. Maintained well and extremely clean. Host is very responsive and helped with smooth checkin and check out. Caretaker was very helpful and was available whenever we needed something. Pictures doesn't justify the beauty of the villa, it's more beautiful in real and very well maintained.

George is an excellent host, very responsive and attentive, always checking in to ensure our comfort throughout the stay. The cottage is exactly as shown in the pictures—clean, well-maintained, and with a neat bathroom. It's conveniently located right on Lake Road, making it easy to find. The area is calm and peaceful, with a beautiful garden that added to the charm. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything we needed, and the portable heaters in both rooms kept us warm during the chilly nights. Priya, the caretaker, is an absolute gem. Her homemade food is delicious, and we ended up not eating out at all because her cooking was so good! She was always responsive to our needs. We stayed with our 1-year-old and 3-year-old, and both of them enjoyed the space and environment immensely. We will definitely visit again in the future. Highly recommend!

The garden was a true paradise, filled with vibrant plants and flowers that added to the charm of the property. It was evident that great care and love had gone into maintaining the space. Above all, the host was exceptional; warm, welcoming, and always ready to assist while respecting privacy. Their attention to detail and hospitality made the stay even more special. The stay at Swastham was great and unforgettable experience. Mr. Joy was so helpful and very friendly. The bungalow has a massive plantation where Mr. Joy took us for visit, it was so pleasant and informative. He described about the plants and cultivation process, my kids and wife enjoyed very well. Had homemade foods daily which is so tasteful. One day Mrs. Joy cooked traditional Kerala style breakfast and it was truly tasty. Every morning we wake up by hearing beautiful sounds of the birds and hot coffee and sit out is unbelievable. There are two caretakers and they were very friendly and we felt like staying in our home. I highly recommend this place. Truly truly amazing.
