I really liked the location of this place. It's 20 kms before main Manali market etc so if you're goal is to see Manali then this might be a bit far unless you have your own car. We weren't really interested in Mall road and our main goal was to drive to Atal tunnel and Keylong the next morning. So for a night's stay it was perfect. Surrounded by lots of green I liked the quiet ambience here. I am not sure how the other rooms were but we booked a villa that had a hall and 1 bedroom downstairs and 1 on the first floor. Both rooms had attached bathrooms. The campus also had some random swings that gave us 5 mins of adventure lol. Food taste was decent (some may not like it but if you're not a food drama queen you'll survive) P.S. For those worried by the word "Satvika" in the name - they do have non veg food :)

If there were 1000000 stars , i would give this experience all of it. I have been to Himachal quite a few times and trust me i have been to enough, if you wish to have a stay right in the lap of nature, this is it. The walk to the swarg home, swarg home itself with its attention to detail, the trails around, the cafes, the aptly quiet naggar village are all just INCREDIBLE . Yash ji, Veena ji, Deepu bhaiya , chikki are very warm, very welcoming and make you feel absolutely at home, right from the time they pick you up, till the time they drop you, ufff, there is a lot to learn from them in terms of hospitality. The home cooked food , the birds chirping , the stunning views of the snow capped peaks , the seclusion from the outside world and still being just 15 mins walk away from the pretty main Naggar market makes this the bestessst stay ever. A perfect place to put all your guards down and still be handheld by the mother nature. Can’t wait to come back already♥️

This place is a hidden jewel in the Himalayas. Tucked in between a few small towns in is perfectly quiet, surrounded by nature and stunning views of the mountain peaks. The hosts are extremely kind and helpful and ensured a wonderful experience for us. They helped us navigate the area, arranged activities like hiking and paragliding for us and were readily available to assist us with everything. We couldn’t have wished for a better place to spend our trip!

Mount Happy, indeed! Ankit’s place is in a really peaceful part of Hallan valley. The house has unobstructed views of the mountains! You can just laze around in the garden watching the mountains throughout the day. The house is also bathed in sunlight through the day. The house is equipped with technology, right from bed warmers to heaters to geysers to a fully equipped kitchen. The house has a library which is pretty well stocked. The house also has a small garden which results in the freshest of veggies for your salads. Ankit is a very hospitable host and went out of his way to ensure our comfort on multiple occasions. He was kind enough to even bake me some bread for my further travels. Sunita di (the caretaker) is a gem of a person and is always around to help. Definitely give her aloo parathas a try. A special mention to Bella and Brownie (the resident dogs) who are too damn friendly! So glad I came across this listing, and this definitely won’t be my last visit to this place!

We booked the entire place for a corporate retreat and couldn't have been happier with our stay. Suman and the other didi are great hosts, cook great food and extremely polite. They definitely play the part of being professional hosts but still bring warmth. Location couldn't have been better - we spent the entire night star gazing watching shooting stars and satellites. The only thing worth mentioning is that not all rooms have a door for the bathroom - some just have a curtain. It didn't matter to us but please ase check and book accordingly.

It was a wonderful stay, we stayed at the tree house which was a wonderful experience. It was a family vacation with our new family member our little kitten, the experience for her and us was great. The tree house, orchard and the lawn was our little one's favorite. Loved the wonderful home cooked food served, especially the Siddu and rajma. Ambrish is a very friendly host, you can ask him for local recommendation. Would recommend this place to people seeking peace and green surroundings yet drivable distance from Manali and Naggar.

It was much better than we expected. A perfect definition of quaint cottage stay in the woods. Outstanding hospitality. It felt like home. The garden, dining area and cottages are very picturesque. It gives the best view of the valley, so good that we wanted to stay in the cottage whole day n night instead of exploring.

Extremely beautiful location . Satyen and his team are very hospitable .It’s totally safe even if we travel solo . There was warmth and coziness in every aspect .I Wll recommend this property to nature lovers those who love wilderness yet be snug and comfortable . Keep it up 👍

Everything was Fantastic. One thing to be improved is that they should use a bigger display board of their AirBnb. Else everything was perfectly fine. Mall road was just on 10 Mins walk which was perfectly fine. All over, I am very happy with the stay and the place.

I had a blessed stay in the house. The house was good with beautiful rooftop view which was very expansive to the mind. It's in a secluded location which I wanted so I appreciated the opportunity to go inward. Klaus and his team were very helpful throughout.

Our stay at offbeats abodes could not have been more perfect! The place is right at the bank of the river offering various scenic views! Completely mesmerising place to be at! Manish - a perfect & friendly host who ensures that every guest has a comfortable stay and feel right at home. Yet to meet a host as amazing as him. Food - think of anything and Chef Yogi will serve it for you! Perfect for your taste buds! he’ll pamper you & spoil you completely. The place is really beautiful- so beautiful that the pictures don't do justice to the reality. Vinay ji is a great host, always helpful and available with suggestions. A walk through the hill forest - with it's apple, cherry and wild species was a treat for all of us. The anecdotes and stories of the history of the land, local knowledge about various plant species and it's uses - really liked that part. Food was also great and like home cooked food. Our family of 9 simply loved every bit of it. My 2 year old daughter is still clamouring to go back to Kotgarh and I am promising her that we will try to be back next year 😀

The secret cottage felt like home away from home. The cottage is cozy, well equipped and clean. Getting to witness some off season snowfall was a treat ! Mr. Suri is a kind and helpful host with great tips and suggestions. There are some great restaurants only a few minutes away, and also the river just a walk down the road from the cottage. Getting to the place from Delhi was a breeze with the new roads and tunnels and took only about 8.5 hours ! The location is great too - you can access alot of places in the valley while staying in a calm and peaceful spot (away from the tourist rush). Loved every minute of my time there and hope to be back again soon!
