Escape to this stylish urban guesthouse. The prestigious home features chic furnishings and decor, neutral tones, pops of color, an open-plan living area, and a covered backyard patio with lounge space. It is a historic village cottage, we are doing our best to update the interior, there is NO central AC, NO central heater; however, we provide portable space heater and there is ceiling fan in master bedroom & living room, and Dyson standing fan in the 2nd bedroom. San Diego STRO License: STR-01611L We are located in the heart of the Village of La Jolla, half mile- walking distance to the beach, restaurant and shoppes. About our site: Our Pearl Village Cottages complex enclosed in the gated with 3 separated Charming Cottages with red brick adobe style, hard landscape, private patio for each cottage. We are living in one of the premises in a separate and completely detached house which is access from the front street. We are hosting our guests in our 2 separate detached guest cottages, which are Pearl 1 Cottage and Pearl 2 Cottage. The guests will have total exclusive access separate gate from the back street (alley driveway) - make sure that you are comfortable with that. Pearl 2 Cottage interior: All interior facilities had been updated & stylish done by professionals interior designer. You enter through the Kitchenette get into the Living Room with the 3 seated soft leather sofa and Flat screen TV. There is 1 king bed in the master bedroom & 1 Queen Beds in the other bedroom. There is lots of closet space in both bedroom. The Kitchenette comes fully equipped with refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, blender, plates, utensil, coking pot & pans, stemware, mugs etc. Notes: kitchenette is minimalist and equipped for basic cooking with a single induction cooktop but not ideal if your plan is to do baking or gourmet cooking. There is an outdoor gas grill with a side burner for additional cooking options Pearl 2 Cottage has a charming shared courtyard but with its own private patio. There is a laundry room available for guests to use. Street parking -no restriction and lots of visible along the street. You can park your car close to the gate for loading, please do not park on the reserved parking lots. You will have access to the entire Cottage. Washer & Dry are available your conveniences. We are interested in providing the best total experiences for our guests, with local dining and entertaining, or community activities. We also want our guest to have the kind of stay that they desire...If they want to interact, we can do that. Or if they want to be totally private, we will definitely respect that. I am available anytime via text & phone. We are using Self- check in/out instruction sending to our guest 3 days prior check in day. But we also available at checking in time and/or during your stay to assist if you needed. You may see me very little time walking back to tidying up and check off on the cleaning of the cottage before guests checking in time. But I am always allow as much privacy for our guests or I can engagement as you prefer. The Pearl Cottage is located right in the heart of La Jolla Village. The property is within walking distance of local restaurants, a supermarket, and the beach with its outdoor activities and cliffs. Pearl 2 Cottage is located in the heart of La Jolla Village, you can walk or ride a bike to most places. We do provide beach cruiser bike for the minimal fee. Public transportation is right around the corner. House Rule: No Smoking is allowed inside/outside the house No Pets are allowed No parties or events are allowed in the house No wet/sands shoes allowed inside the house No AC but we do have fans in the bedroom & living room ***WE ONLY ALLOW GUESTS ABOVE 25 YEARS OLD TO BOOK No parking provided on the complex, but there is easy to find free 24hrs street parking at the front street. ***Expecting the daily village lifestyle noise and activities outside the gate during the business hours of the weekday. It’s within a very short ride to Wind n'Sea Beach as well as the sand and surf of Pacific Beach and Mission Bay. LaJolla Cove is an 8-minute car ride. Walking is the BEST way to see La Jolla! Explore the neighborhood and its architecture, see the sea lions in the Cove, shop downtown La Jolla or just hang by the beach! If you want to explore more, Uber is the best way to get around! Pacific beach is 5-min away, Mission beach is 8-min away and downtown San Diego is only 15-min away! Access to The Cottage is down the driveway, and up the stairs.
