Hygge House- Backyard Hiking, Bethel Woods

Peter and I recently bought and renovated this 1790 farmhouse which sits on a sloping hill overlooking Minisink Battleground Park. You can walk off the deck, cross the lawn and explore 50 acres of beautiful trails. On a private road, the house has plenty of peace and quiet. There are two charming bedrooms, two full baths, a cozy living room, sun room (third bedroom), fully stocked kitchen, and laundry room. We've loved making these rooms a bit more modern while keeping the farmhouse vibe.

If you love the outdoors, this place is for you! The cabin is a wonderful and special place to us. It has a retro vibe with a good olde cabin feel. Being located in the woods, you may have a few wild visitors - bald eagles and hawks, bears, racoons, and porcupines have all been seen!

There are 7 acres with river views and access . River is a couple hundred yards from cottage, lots of lawn, hammock, kayaking, lawn games, board games, hiking, fire pits, lots to do or just relax.
