We just got back from 7 days here and it was great. The house was exactly as described, yes mostly original from 1956! (new kitchen appliances and bathroom!) but everything was in excellent condition and functional, quite comfortable for a family of 4 and dog. We did very much appricieate the detail and atmosphere of the place, all very cool. The living/dining space was perfect for hanging out and the deck provided great views of the surrounding mountains. A small perk that isn't evident from the posting is that despite it being in a neighborhood (the '56 Olympic Village) this house sits more or less "alone" on the corner so you don't have any direct neighbors which makes it feel a little more secluded in the woods. The location is a short car ride (<10 min) from San Vito di Cadore which is a great little mountain town with good restaurants and cafes. We truly had a wonderful time here. Thanks Duccio!

Die Unterkunft von Madleyn und Matthias ist der Wahnsinn. Ein perfekter Ort um sich eine Außzeit vom schnelllebigen Alltag zu gönnen. Die „heiße Badewanne“ draußen war ein totales Highlight für unseren 11 Monate alten Sohn, ebenso wie die verschmusten Kühe direkt am Gartenzaun. Die Gegend bietet viele Wandermöglichkeiten und Ausflugsziele. Man muss nur Zeit einplanen, wenn man mit dem Auto irgendwo hin möchte da die Fahrtzeiten dort recht lang sind wegen der kurvigen Straßen. Madleyn hatte uns im Vorfeld darüber informiert, dass es schneien könnte (Anfang September 🫣) und auch während des Aufenthalts waren die beiden sehr hilfsbereit. Wir können diese Unterkunft definitiv weiterempfehlen.

We had a wonderful stay in Borca di Cadore. Driving time to Cortina d’Ampezzo was 20 minutes! The location was absolutely stunning, surrounded by breathtaking mountain views. The house itself was cozy, well-equipped, and beautifully maintained, making our stay very comfortable. The only small detail was that we had to ask the owner to increase the temperature in the house by one degree, but they were very responsive and accommodating, which we really appreciated. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we would definitely return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and scenic getaway!

Ricardo War ein hervorragender Gastgeber. Der Empfang in seinem Restaurant war sehr schön. Wir blieben gleich noch zum Abendessen und waren die einzigen Gäste. Später ging es dann circa 1,5 km über einen Waldweg zu der Unterkunft. Es empfiehlt sich ein geländegängiges Fahrzeug. Die Unterkunft ist unbeschreiblich und die Bilder sprechen für sich. Wir haben die Ruhe und Einsamkeit sehr genossen und kommen definitiv wieder.

Amazing experience! The chalet is right on the mountain for a true ski in ski out. The view of the Dolomites is absolutely breathtaking! The home has been updated and it was a great place to stay. The host couldn’t have been nicer. He meet us at the ski lift and helped us with our things to the chalet. Very responsive and checked in on us during our stay. This is truly a rare find and such a special home. I would highly recommend staying here. I only hope to come back someday.

Esperienza stupenda! Immersi nel verde e avere le montagne intorno,un passaggio spettacolare. Le botti in legno sono posizionate in un camping,molto tranquillo. Quindi le condizioni sono quelle di un vero camping..bagno e doccia in comune con tutte le persone del camping. Comunque per chi ama la natura ma vuole avere le stesse comodità di casa e la struttura perfetta! Letto comodissimo,e gli spazi dentro più che sufficienti.atmosfera calda..e la jacuzzi fuori una chicca veramente..acqua calda e relax garantito! Per chi va in coppia è davvero speciale come esperienza.

Great place: very quiet and at the same time convenient for cortina and ski resorts

Francesco è stato un host gentilissimo! nonostante fossimo un gruppo numeroso è riuscito ad accomodare ogni nostra esigenza, assolutamente raccomandato :)

Siamo stati 2 giorni a dicembre nello chalet di Alex..veramente stupendo..sia la casa ,sia la zona , tutto curato nei minimi particolari. Accogliente e calda proprio come la cercavamo ..bagno spaziosissimo ,cucina modernissima con tutti i servizi, open space spettacolare ,ideale per chi vuole rilassarsi e godere a pieno il paesaggio mozzafiato. Alex è stato sempre disponibilissimo da prima del check in fino alla fine ,.Ci torneremo sicuramente in futuro ,magari anche d'estate, do un 5 stelle perché se li merita tutti

Großartiges Ferienhaus mit außergewöhnlich schöner Architektur, bei der Design gekonnt in das typische Flair einer Berghütte integriert wurde. Wir haben uns sofort zu Hause gefühlt. Das Haus ist sehr hochwertig ausgestattet, alles passt zusammen, von der individuellen Bettwäsche bis hin zum bei Bau verwendeten Altholz. Das Bad ist eine kleine Wellness Oase. In der Küche fehlt nix – es gibt sogar eine Siebträger Espressomaschine, die mit Illy Kaffee einen großartigen Espresso zubereitet. Der Dachboden eignet sich wunderbar für Kinder zum Schlafen und Spielen. Die Kinder gehen eine schmale Holztreppe hoch und haben ihr eigenes Reich. Oben sind überall Geländer! Lucia ist eine großartige Gastgeberin und hat uns bei kleinen Problemen immer sofort (!) geholfen. Wir konnten flexibel einchecken und im Haus warteten viele kulinarische Geschenke auf uns. Wir danken herzlich für den schönen Aufenthalt und wünschen Lucia alle Gute :-)

A truly beautiful location. Close to the lift and restaurants of piste 85 (Alpe Cermis), yet very quiet and private. The view of the valley is breathtaking, the terrace full of sun. And you can ski directly there on your skis. The communication is very friendly and attentive. Allessandro is very helpful. The house itself is clean, but slightly old-fashioned in terms of bathroom and kitchen (see photo's). We think this Chalet has an excellent price/quality balance and can highly recommend the Chalet. Tips for your stay: - Online you can buy tickets with a 10% discount. - The slope is for a novice to intermediate skier. Try the 75,88,76,84,74,87 (long + descend 1400 meters (!)). - A day trip to Latemar is definitely worth it (but much busier) - The ski rental near the chalet is much friendlier and cheaper than the one downstairs (+10% discount). - Try Tiramisu at Baita Tonda and fresh pizza at Eurotel Hotel. We would for sure recommend the Chalet!

Abbiamo passato un weekend a mezzano, sfortuna ha voluto che rimanessimo a piedi con la macchina e siamo stati costretti a tornare a casa con la macchina di amici e lasciare la nostra da un meccanico in zona, l’host si è reso molto disponibile a tenerci le valige per due giorni, finché non siamo ritornati per riprendere la macchina. Per quanto riguarda da casa, tutto come nella descrizione, casa molto bella e pulita. Ma ancora una volta ci tengo a ringraziare michele.

Super urige und völlig abgeschiedene Blockhütten aus vergangener Zeit, aber mit dem nötigen Luxus: Strom, fließend Wasser, warme Duschen,.. Tolle Mischung! Wer ungestört in der Natur ausspannen will, den Holzofen betreiben kann (wir waren im Oktober und es war schon etwas frisch) ist hier genau richtig. Kleine und größere Wanderung und Bergtouren können von der Hütte aus unternommen werden. Gleich nebenan gibt es ein interessantes Museumdorf mit geschichtlichen Erläuterungen. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen und wir kommen wieder.

Non sono in grado di trovare le parole giuste per descrivere la meraviglia per ogni senso, vissuta al piccolo Maso di Sergio: la vista privilegiata sulla valle, con la perla di Mezzano laggiù e le Pale in cornice; il suono degli animali nel bosco e il fruscio delle foglie; il gusto dei lamponi appena colti per fare colazione nella zona esterna o quello della carne locale cotta sulla brace (ogni strumento era a disposizione!); l'odore della natura rigogliosissima e quello dell'erba appena tagliata dai proprietari della case intorno (che non si vedono, tanto si è immersi tra gli alberi); la montagna e l'amore per essa che ti avvolgono! Siamo rimasti esterrefatti e ancora parliamo e ricordiamo quella che si è rivelata un'esperienza da sogno! La casa è accogliente, tutta in legno e dotata di ogni cosa per 2 persone. Gli spazi sono funzionali, pulitissimi e arredati con gusto e stile locale. Complimenti davvero e, speriamo, a presto!

Giovanni’s place is the perfect spot to see the Dolomites, it felt private and was incredibly peaceful and the view was just amazing. There were a number of hikes/locations nearby but also we were happy to drive around and make a day trip out of it to get to ones a little further away. There are some restaurants nearby but again if you’re willing to drive even 25 minutes you are at Cortina so you have plenty of options. We really loved the feel of and design of the place and would definitely stay there again :)

The house is perfectly located for an escape - quiet with beautiful surroundings, and the house itself was warm and inviting. Although Serena’s first language is not English, she went out of her way to ensure a great stay for us, with friendly and proactive communication throughout. We enjoyed walks in the local area and relaxing in front of the wood fire in the evening, an idyllic winter retreat (and perfectly equipped for summer escapes as well!) Serena’s hosting and the lovely property made a perfect short break for us and we would thoroughly recommend considering this location

Es war wie immer herrlich - Sonne satt auf der Terasse und direkt an der Piste gelegen. Super, dass jetzt auch eine Spülmaschine vorhanden ist! :)

Settimana magica a Pradileva, circondati di montagne e fiumi all'aqua cristallina e pura. Posto di pace e di riposo, Martina è stata fantastica, sempre pronta a facilitare ed aiutare, a raccontare le sue passione per la sua valle. Tramonti di sotto si trova a 5 minuti a piedi con locali di grande qualità. Grazie di tutto

Wir haben die Unterkunft bei Andrea und Rudolf geliebt! Sie liegt wunderschön ruhig in die Natur eingebettet. Perfekt für Familien und Paare die gerne Rodeln, Wandern oder einfach eine schöne Aussicht haben wollen. Trotzdem gibt es viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und tolle Restaurants in direkter Nähe. Das ganze Haus hat man für sich alleine und man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Es ist liebevoll eingerichtet mit schönen Details. Und natürlich alles sehr sauber! Wir freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Besuch.

Abbiamo soggiornato solo tre notti, il luogo è molto tranquillo e rilassante. A piedi nei dintorni abbiamo fatto piacevoli passeggiate, e a meno di 30 minuti in auto, siamo saliti fin quasi a Cima D’Asta. Belle anche le Grotte a Castello Tesino (cittadina a 5 minuti in auto). La casa di Sabrina è pulita e confortevole, un’ottimo punto di appoggio per la zona. Ristorante molto buono, e nelle vicinanze se ne trovano anche altri.

The house is situated just a short walk from the centre of Cavalese. It is also located in a private, dead end street. So there are no noises from the streets or other houses. We stayed for 8 days. Every day we planned another hike. Some hikes are closeby, just a 20min drive. Others were a little further away, maximum 45min to a 1 hour drive. The roads are very well paved and so incredibly beautiful to drive. Every valley we visited has its own typical surroundings. The Dolomite mountain area is so diverse! And staying in this great appartment will allow you to visit all of them. Michele is a great guy and will make you feel at home at his family home. Summer or winter, you will have a great time enjoying his hospitality!

L’ensemble de notre séjour s’est bien passé. Valentina a été disponible pour répondre à nos questions. Quelques petits soucis qui n’ont pas gâché nos vacances. Le wifi est très lent (routeur 4G) ne comptez pas dessus si vous souhaitez regarder des séries, mais je pense que c’est dû à la situation géographique du logement. Sinon pour le reste, l’emplacement est parfait : calme et superbe vue. Un bon souvenir pour nous.

Everything was as described, clean, well communicated and all worked well. Close to slopes for skiing and lots of nice walks around. Would definitely recommend it for a stay.
