Place was great! Clean, lotsa room, and lotsa extra blankets was a plus. Kitchen was stocked to the max and fenced in backyard for my dog was safe and well lit. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Georgetown.

This is the 2nd time I have stayed at this location in Florence. The place is very clean, comfortable beds, clean bathroom, and very easy to get into. The location was perfect for our needs, close to stores, food, and Francis Marion University. Wempy is a great host and very repsonsive. He answers mail within minutes and is always helpful. I would stay here again for sure. Thank you for a great stay!

Overall it was a great stay. Laura was a wonderful host very responsive and kind. Like others said, it is dated and could definitely use some updates, but it was cozy. Kind of felt like grandma's house. But overall, it was a nice quiet stay close to everything

This place was the perfect spot for meeting up with my family from overseas. It was a beautiful Southern style civil war era home. highly recommend! the experience was charming. thank you for everything!

I would be remiss if I did not mention what a wonderful host Matt is. I do not typically ask for much but, with this trip, I needed some extra assistance and Matt went above and beyond what I could have ever expected. Thank you, Matt! Matt's home is fantastic; so much natural light, very comfortable furnishings and so easy to spread out when needed. We spent a lot of time talking around the dining room table when we were not out exploring. The kitchen is spacious and well stocked. We felt at home immediately. There were several times we realized we had not thought of everything but it was okay because the home had everything we needed. The beds, pillows and bedding were all so comfortable. One person in our group found one of the matresses more firm than she was used to so she switched after the first night but we love that she even had that option since there were more beds than there were people, in our case. I could go on if Airbnb gave me more characters - we had THE BEST TIME.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property! The house was exactly as described. It was extremely clean and the location was great. Efrain and Ashley were extremely responsive and went above and beyond to make our stay great!

Our family absolutely loved this home. I could not have asked for anything better for our stay at Pawley’s Island. The location is perfect, it’s just a short walk right across the street to the beach and the ramp to the marsh is directly across the street in the opposite direction. The house is beautiful and well stocked with games, books, kitchen supplies, etc and everything is labeled! The attention to detail is amazing when it comes to having a table for games or puzzles, a large dining table that seats all of your guests, and multiple living areas. The screened in porches were our favorite feature and you can see everything from the sky deck. If you are a pet owner, this house is perfect. Having a nice clean home that is still dog friendly is sometimes hard to find and this house even has a fenced in back yard that made letting our dog out so convenient. The fact that the house has so many bedrooms and bathrooms makes it easy for everyone to have the privacy of their own room and you never have to wait on a shower. We will definitely be staying again!

My coworkers and I rented Shari’s cottage for a month and found it to be a wonderful “home away from home!” Shari is a wealth of information about the area and the friendliest AirBnB host I’ve ever had. The house is as described, with the charm of a 1940s bungalow! We so enjoyed the homelike decor, safe neighborhood, comfortable beds, coffee bar, fireplace on cool nights, and the perfect location for our needs. Just a couple of blocks from the house is Hagley Landing, which is a perfect spot to catch the most breath-taking sunsets across the Intercoastal Waterway! It’s nestled in a quiet residential neighborhood but only a couple of minutes from stores and restaurants, and about 10 minutes from beach accesses. I loved, loved, loved staying here and would highly recommend it for anyone wanting a quaint, comfortable stay! So much better than a generic condo or hotel rental when enjoying Pawleys Island.

This was a very nice home away from home! Everything I needed was there, so I didn’t have to scramble to the store when I arrived. I appreciated the welcoming gestures and the excellent communication. Very clean!

We loved the house; lots a room for our two families to enjoy! Teens hung out in the pool every evening. Location is perfect between Myrtle Beach and Charleston for day trips into town!

All of the linens and towels were high quality and top notch. The kitchen was well equipped, and everything was in great usable condition. The best part was the little special touches that were left for us to make us feel welcome. For example, 2 coffee mugs set out for us to use, paper flowers on the toilet paper that were the cutest. Overall, we immediately felt right at home. It was a very quiet, peaceful setting and convenient to all that Pawley's Island has to offer. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at Pear Tree on our journey from Ohio back to Florida after the funeral of my 22 year old nephew. The home was beautiful and full of charm. It's huge! The lodging accommodations far exceeded any hotel offering at double the price! Our Mini Sheepadoodle Muppet Max enjoyed the property immensely. My teen daughter didn't want to leave. We will be back on our next journey back to Ohio! Thank you for sharing your historic home!

Allison’s house is lovely, beautiful baths and bed linens. You can tell she had fun decorating. The yard is sweet but not fenced for a dog romp if you are bringing pups. The pool area is fenced but mainly rock bed. The neighbors, apparently, don’t want you walking dogs on the street, so a bit restricted feeling for those who like a walk. However… Huntington Beach State Park is very close and provides lots of walking options. We loved our walks at the park. Check out Lee’s Market nearby for local produce and a sense of remaining rural SC. The strawberries and crabcakes were perfect.

Anne was a wonderful host! Responsive when I had questions and we loved being able to check in early after our drive from NY! A warm greeting met us after a daunting drive, which was beyond thoughtful. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Outstanding customer service. Life happens, and sometimes hiccups occur that no one can predict. Upon letting the host know about the situation, he got back with me in less than five minutes with a solution. He followed up later that evening to verify the solution was implemented, and then contacted me the next morning to make sure my family and I were still comfortable. I will be returning to the area in the future, and I already know I will be a returning guest at this place. Cheers to the host!

This is a great getaway spot if you’re looking for a hidden spot with privacy. The hosts are extremely helpful and friendly. The property is gorgeous and the cabin was cozy. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a place near Myrtle but out of the craziness.

This is a great place to stay! It’s so unique and private, yet close to the beach and all the things we enjoy doing when we visit. Our host, Rebecca, left us a basket of goodies and even treats for our dogs. She checked in with us to make sure we didn’t need anything and was so nice. It’s very clean, has a unique vibe being an artist’s cottage and I’d stay there every time I visit if it was available! Best of all, my 13 yr. Old dog could go too!

We would absolutely stay here again! and Catherine was the most Gracious Host! We were in town for the weekend with our 2 dogs. The large backyard was perfect for them! We would sit and have coffee every morning while our dogs ran the back yard getting some energy out! It was perfect! The studio apt was spotless, brand new appliances, new bathroom, the beds and bedding were very comfortable. The leather couch was also extremely cozy! We were in need of NOTHING while staying here. Catherine supplied coffee keurig maker, variety of coffee pods, creamer, and a basket of snacks. She had a large amt of bath towels for our entire stay. She also supplied a Beach Pass for the State Park Beach. We took our dogs there every morning to swim. Being so close to all the restaurants was very nice! We could walk to several different places. The studio apt was extremely quiet, you can't hear any activity outside. I would recommend Catherine's place to everyone. It is a hidden gem.

Very clean and spacious house with more than reasonable stocked items made us feel at home the minute we stepped in. Inside, tasteful furnitures and decoration gave us a cozy feel as if we are staying at my grandmother’s house. Outside, you can spend all day relaxed with the sounds of nature - water, wind, and birds. I tried kayaking for the first time. Water is calm, nothing else is around me except water. What a soothing experience! And the sunset is breathtaking.

This was a great last minute stop on my travels and well worth the price they accommodated me very well. They even helped me set my tent up when I arrived late night

This home was clean, exactly as pictured, quiet at night, and easily accessible. Relana was communicative and great to work with for check-in and check-out; she even had snacks, water, and coffee waiting for us when we arrived. We will definitely be back and would recommend this property to any family (with or without children) and social or professional groups. There were plenty of comfortable beds and the stay exceeded our expectations.
