This space is the perfect mix of historic charm and modern design in a beautiful country setting 5 minutes from Millersville University. This buildings age dates to the Early 1800's. It was originally a grist mill that used water from the west branch of the Little Conestoga Creek to power a wheel used to grind flour. The mill has now been turned into a wonderfully updated residence with fantastic views on all sides,including one overlooking the creek. Enjoy the large rooms and peaceful grounds.

Conveniences include a wood stove, sleep number mattress, Viking gas stovetop/oven, deck facing river with propane grill, a covered carport entry, and a 180* river view at the top of the property! Kick back and relax in this handicap accessible, clean and stylish country charm efficiency apartment, complete with two outdoor seating spaces, walking paths and beautiful scenery located in rural southern Lancaster County. The area is surrounded by country and Amish charm, with nearby hiking trails, while a 30 minute drive will have you in downtown historic Lancaster City where you can stroll, shop and on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday visit the historic Central Market.

Enjoy the coziness of the BirdHouse. Our kitchen has the necessities to cook. We provide olive oil, spices, salt and pepper, farm fresh eggs, coffee filters, and trash bags. For the bathroom we provide starter shampoo and conditioner, toilet paper, and of course the towels. Linens provided also. Enjoy the courtyard area with its gas fireplace and seating area. Cook on the gas grill and enjoy a meal at the bistro table. Please come and relax!

All are welcome in our cozy 1 Bedroom plus loft Cabin #3 along the Conewago Creek. Peaceful and relaxing, & the creek is just a step away and is great for splashing around in the summer to cool off. No smoking. Fully equipped kitchen & Washer and Dryer. Carport parking space. Pets are welcome. All pets must be disclosed prior to check in. We charge a $20 pet fee. Two pets maximum please.
