Welcome and enjoy our picturesque cabin nestled in the beautiful meadows of the two highest peaks in Colorado! Where you can hike the highest 14ers! Fish the gold medal water, that are only 100' away. You're just minutes from Turquoise and Twin Lakes, where you can fish, boat, or enjoy all the water sporting activities the lakes have to offer. If you're a hunter, you're in the prime location. Skiing!!! But if you want to relax and enjoy the scenery, you couldn't have picked a better place!

Walking distance to downtown, this is the perfect home for your mountain experience. The front section of this house was rolled down on logs by my grandfather from the East side of Leadville's historic mining district. From there it was built it into a two bedroom house which is now fully renovated for you to enjoy your mountain stay. Enjoy things nearby such as the Mineral Belt Trail, easy access to hiking and biking trials, and a short drive to Turquoise Lake, Twin Lakes, and Ski Cooper.

A secluded cabin in a high alpine environment at 11,700 feet! Truly off-grid, without electricity, running water, NO WiFi. Beautifully furnished with fabulous furniture and wonderful beds to sleep 8. Just bring a sleeping bag & pillow case! WINTER ACCESS: By ski/skin, snowshoe or snowmobile only. 2 miles and 1000 foot gain to cabin. Takes approximately 3 hours on rolling and steep terrain. SUMMER ACCESS: By high-clearance, 4x4 vehicle and requires low gears (rental SUV not recommended).

Our cabin is one of a kind. Isolated with easy access, it is located outside Leadville-10,200 feet, between the Sawatch and Mosquito ranges, with stunning views of both. Licensed through the Land County Land Use License #2026-P8, allowing 4 guests only. Please DO NOT bring additional guests. No cleaning fee. Winter guests: Easy access to town. The county plows the road, still we recommend AWD or 4WD for all winter travel. Please read “other things to note” before booking.
