My family was looking for a quiet weekend getaway and this lake house was the perfect place for us! The lake views from the living room were spectacular. The house was charming and comfortable. It had everything we needed and more! The peacocks roamed the yard throughout the day and were a pleasant sight to see. The dock was enjoyed by the whole family! We watched beautiful sunsets. My sons used the kayak. We fished for crappie and caught a few! We brought our small fishing boat and cruised around Lake Harris. We made our way to the famous Dora Canal. The boat launch is minutes away from the house. We walked to the delicious bakery a mile away for morning coffee and pastries. The host was so helpful and available to answer any questions we had. We enjoyed our stay at this charming and serene lake house!

Stephen was a pleasure to work with, very responsive and flexible as possible. He was proactive in letting us know that the check-in time was available sooner than listed. His keyless entry made it very easy to access his house and made it easy for all in my party to come and go as they pleased. His house was very clean and you could tell that as soon as you walked in the door. Everything worked well, his AC system provided arctic level cooling, his pool and hot tube was ready for use, his screened in game room was fun and actually stayed cool throughout the day, his outside gathering areas had plenty of seating, and his dock provided plenty of room to fish. This location on the canal was beautiful and easily accessible to St John's River. Definitely would stay here again and would recommend this place to anyone who wants a cool place to stay, relax and have fun. Thank you, Stephen, for your allowing us to stay at your house it was well worth the cost.

I booked this air bnb for a girls weekend trip and we had a great time! The neighborhood is peaceful and right next to the park. Once you enter the gate it’s like being in your own secluded community. We used the pool, sauna, and game room. Jerome was responsive and super helpful with any questions we had. We loved the interior decor of the cottage and the little porch in the front. We were so happy with this find and really enjoyed our stay.

We got married here and stayed for 3 days. We spent the happiest day of our lives here and it was amazing. The property is beautiful and Angie was an incredible host. Everyone was complimenting how beautiful our wedding was the entire night. The place was decorated nicely and the hosts provided more than enough for us. We will definitely be coming back in the future. Definitely recommend this place.

I booked this place for a five day stay with my girlfriend. The cabin is located on a quiet section of 44A just east of the walking trails at Lake May and Trout Lake. The hosts and their family live on the property, but you would hardly know. Other than a short, but friendly, conversation with Gabriel, and a couple visits from their incredibly sweet and quiet little dog, they gave us plenty of privacy. There are two units in the barn. The upper one, where we stayed was comfortable, and exceptionally well-finished for the price. In our conversation, Gabriel told me it was his first big renovation job, but you would hardly know. I've stayed in hotels for nearly twice the price that didn't look or feel nearly as good as this place did. We loved the full kitchen, comfortable bed, and free streaming on TV. Overall, we were incredibly happy with our time here. We will definitely be back.

This charming 1927 era home is serving cottage core ruffles and the flowery porcelain teacups of your dreams. We were transported back to another era when we walked inside, in a good way. Nostalgia with air conditioning! It was a short drive to bustling downtown Mt. Dora/Tevares. The house was comfortable and quiet. We especially appreciated the gated, fenced in yard so we could include our dog. It was really nice to have a quiet place to come back to after being in downtown with some of the weekend crowds. It was very easy to load in and out from the driveway/off-street parking. There are large live oaks in the backyard with lots of shade. Lake County is very dog friendly and there are many local restaurants that have outdoor seating so you can bring your well-behaved pup. There was also a neighborhood green space (no playground) just around the corner from the house. The grocery store was an eight-minute drive. A relaxing local getaway from our perspective.

The cottage was a great find and so cozy it made us feel right at home. The location is perfect you can walk to the downtown area and this place is also pet friendly. We had a great time staying here and hope its available the next time we are in Eustis.

Karla's place is very nice. Very clean, the screened in porch was so nice and there are sliding glass doors where you can see the beauty outside. The lake, dock and everything outside were so beautiful. The thing I loved the most is it is so quiet there. We live on a noisy road so this was heaven. We met Karla as we were leaving, and she is so nice. Directions to the cottage were perfect, check in was easy. Very nice place when you have a dog as we were traveling with our Yorkie. You will love Karla's place!

This was our second stay at Hunters place. We are planning on a third.

I booked this Airbnb for a trip to the springs with my husband + his parents. The place was exactly as described. We loved the outdoor area — was so nice to have dinner at the picnic table + sit around the fire in the evenings. My favorite part was the cats Smokey + Panther! Such sweet creatures! They hung out with us when we were outside. Cozy is the perfect descriptor — clean but well loved + well lived in. Close to Silver Springs + not far from Paynes Prairie/Gainesville, too! I want to bring my parents here next! This place was also at a very good price point when I was looking at places. (:

Our second time staying in Winter Garden at Jill’s cottage and everything linked to it was every bit as good as the previous stay two years ago. Spotlessly clean and very good value for money. Jill was very responsive and even went over and above with decorations for my husband’s special birthday which he celebrated during our stay. Thank you again

We had a wonderful stay at Lauren’s place! The home was beautifully decorated, thoughtfully stocked, and extremely clean. The backyard and patio was both peaceful and private and our children had a great time fishing off the dock. Lauren was very helpful and friendly and I would definitely recommend her place to anyone traveling to the area. Thanks for hosting such a lovely place!

First, the home is exactly as described in the photos, and when you get there, the house is absolutely more fantastic than we imagined. If you like original and beautiful art, you are in for a treat. The Fisherman's Cottage is filled with incredible pieces of sea-themed art, from metal fish to whales to seahorses to fish themed rubber sandals for guests. You just have to go there to experience the creative spirit that lives in the home. The cottage was immaculate, and Liz and Lee had everything you could possible need, including snacks. They were attentive and excellent communicators. It's a short walk to the quaint, beautiful town of Mt. Dora and a short walk to the lake. It's a must-have experience. All four of us had a great time. It could not have been better! Thank you, from Marylou, Nancy, Karen and Amy!
