Our renovated (in June 2023) suite is at the end of a no-through road and is only a 5-10 minute walk into the village to a fabulous, organic craft bakery, artisan shops, restaurants, a museum, a pub, a small grocery/liquor store and a popular ice cream/candy store. (Seasonal) kayak/paddle-board rentals & whale watching excursions for hire. Cowichan District Hospital 15 min drive.

Lake Cowichan Home on the River

Take a break in Lake Cowichan. Stay in this charming suite, on the river and within walking distance of the town centre. The suite has two extra-long twin beds which can be put together to form a king-size bed. The kitchen has everything you need, with a microwave convection oven and double steamer substituting for a stove. The little bathroom is perfect for after-swim showers, etc.. A frozen muffin for breakfast will be resentful supplied upon request to meet the town legal requirements.

We are a 5 minute drive from West Shawnigan Lake Park (lake access) and an 8 minute drive from Masons Beach / Shawnigan village, and a 50 minute drive from Victoria.

Our semi-detached, self-contained BnB includes a private entrance, porch, comfy queen bed, ensuite shower & kitchenette with fridge & microwave. Continental breakfast provided on arrival day. While production fields are fenced, the rest remains natural, allowing wildlife to move through and drink from our two ponds.
