Beautiful setting even in the winter. Well stocked kitchen. The mudroom was very helpful. Ample TVs and places to relax- internet was great. Great communication with host, very responsive to any needs or questions.

I cannot say enough good things about this Air BnB. It was the perfect location for us to be close to family. The house was well-kept, very clean and we felt right at home. Again, this is a terrific location and we cannot wait to stay there again in the future. The kitchen had everything you could need, furniture and beds we’re comfortable and it has central air!!! Love this place and it is on our shortlist for future visits to Sandy Lake. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb by the river! The place was clean, spacious, and came with tons of great amenities that made our trip super comfortable. The location was perfectly private—exactly what we were looking for to unwind and relax. One of the best parts was just sitting in the backyard, watching the geese play by the river. It was peaceful, scenic, and definitely the highlight of our trip.

My husband and I recently attended a nearby class and had the pleasure of staying at this lovely Airbnb situated over a small lake and it was absolutely perfect! The peaceful setting was exactly what we needed to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life. The cabin is brand new and thoughtfully designed providing many comforts of home. We thoroughly enjoyed the stunning views of the lake, especially as the fall leaves changed colors. The vibrant hues of red, orange, and yellow created a breathtaking backdrop, making our morning coffee on the deck a truly magical experience. While we didn't swim or kayak, we enjoyed leisurely walks around the area, soaking in the tranquility and beauty of nature. The host was incredibly welcoming and provided great recommendations for nearby dining. If you're seeking a serene getaway to immerse yourself in the beauty of fall, this Airbnb is the perfect spot. We left feeling refreshed and inspired, and we can't wait to return!

We had a wonderful month here. The house is comfortable, the sunsets are beautiful and the hosts are friendly, attentive and quick to respond to any questions or needs. We enjoyed daily walks into Bemus and exploring all the area has to offer.

Peaceful stay close to wineries and hiking places. House was comfortable, Kitchen had basic equipment. We went in the fall so couldn’t enjoy the river but the leaves were beautiful.

This was our second time staying at Claire's House in Bemus Point, NY. There are eight in our party with a dog. All the instructions and communications were clear and helpful. The layout of the house is great for our group. We can spread out in different rooms on the first floor and the bedrooms and baths are spacious, clean and nicely decorated. We are hoping to schedule soon for Thanksgiving 2025, Two families are from the Berkshires in Western MA and one from Indianapolis. Claire' s home is conveniently in the middle. Bemus Point is very walkable. Bustling in the summer and quiet in winter. There are several places to eat even in winter. No driving necessary.

We enjoyed our 3 night getaway! The private beach was incredible. We enjoyed a peaceful time on the lake with our two dogs. - 85 inch TV in the family room for watching football - gas grill and blackstone for the barbecue - fire pit - beach supplies including 2 kayaks and life vests - comfortable master suite with jacuzzi tub - game room with pool table So much fun and many possibilities!

A great stay for a family! Was a great spot for a big group. Kitchen has great amount of pots, pans, dishes. One note — the backyard area is not fenced in, and while neighbors are friendly, there is a lot of free roam space so keep an eye on dogs and kids. Very comfortable space for a family to spend time together.

This place is a hidden gem and the peacocks are beautiful! I love how it’s secluded and I would highly recommend!

Not only was this the ideal location for my Dad's return to health, it was perfect for me to enjoy some peace and explore some nature. The house itself was pristine and cozy while not being too small. Plenty if seating in the house, and plenty to do outside. It was so nice, it made it hard to leave! I would love to come back and use the firepit and all the lovely outdoor amenities. All in all, great spot especially gor the price. Also, Amy was prompt whenever i reached out. Everything was taken care of. 5 out of 5 would recommend!

Great place and even while staying in winter, I can see this place being great for the summer months as well. Super peaceful and private. Jane communicated great and very responsive. We weren’t expecting to have the driveway clearing from all the snow that fell, but they did and it was so nice.

This was our second time back to this beautiful cottage. This cottage is perfect. The location is perfect to get up and go do anything you like. It is super cozy to just relax on rainy days. We love the convenience of just kicking back and enjoying the fire right in the backyard. We are an easy going low key family who loves to just enjoy the company of each other and that is exactly what we get to do here. This cottage is the perfect getaway but yet keeps it feeling like home away from home. We are already talking about our next visit!

Kristen's place was just as described! this was our first time using Airbnb and Kristen was more than accommodating with answering questions quickly. Her place was very clean and had more than what was needed for our long weekend stay!!

Beautiful setting! Peaceful and secluded yet close to several wineries and restaurants. Fishing, hot tub and wood burning stove were fantastic! House was clean and was exactly how it was described. The property also allowed us to hike, on well marked paths!

We had an amazing stay in this beautifully decorated home! The space was spotless and perfect for relaxation. The kitchen was fully equipped, allowing us to prepare a meal and spend quality time together, and we loved watching the stunning sunset by the lake—it was absolutely breathtaking. The host was wonderful and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We left a pair of shoes behind, and the host kindly coordinated with me to meet my daughter at her nearby college to ensure we got them back. She truly went out of her way to help us, and we couldn’t be more grateful for her kindness. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing getaway!

Kathleen’s home was perfect! We felt comfortable from the beginning. It was well stocked with extras. A great place to visit with an elderly person, or someone with limited physical abilities. There was only two steps, and a walk in shower! I can’t wait to return when the weather is nicer so we can see the beach.

As advertised, which is great! Sean was very friendly and helpful! 100% recommend! We’ll be back! :)

This is the second time my family stayed at Bearfoot by the Lake. It was just as clean and comfortable as the last time. A really nice home! There is a restaurant right across the street and an ice cream stand a few doors down. You can walk to the marina to rent a boat, or put your boat in the water. There is also a small beach with some playground equipment in walking distance, but the beach was kind of yucky when we were there. It was the last week of September, so probably out of season. There are several other places to eat within a few miles and a dollar general right up the street. We had a fabulous time. I would say the only downside to this property is that it is on a busy road during the day, but there is not much traffic in the evening. Even with being on a busy road, the back of the house is private and has a stream running through the back yard.

This is the second time we've stayed at Steph's place. It's big, inviting, and located in a beautiful area overlooking a marshland that is a habitat for migrating birds and is a short walk to Lake Erie. Can't beat it for nature. It was perfect for a family gathering of several adults, a couple teens and a kid, with lots of places to sleep. All the kitchen supplies and linens and anything else one might require. Very, very nice, very, very comfortable. This place has "family reunion," written all over it. A little pricey but there's really nothing else like it on the Airbnb market in lower Ontario that's has a water view and is near a Great Lake.

We had a pleasant stay. The house was very clean and the locality is beautiful. The host responded to all our requests and they were very helpful. We will plan to book the same place in summer!
