We really enjoyed our stay here! Great privacy, cozy house and we loved the amenities of the fire pit and paddle boat. It was perfect for bringing our little one too, with a crib and toys available! We should have brought binoculars for all the cool birds and ducks we saw. There were even swans on the lake! I wish we could have stayed longer. The nearby town of Holly looks like it came straight out of a hallmark movie! It was so cute and had really amazing antique stores as well as some really great little restaurants we were able to try. I would move to this area in a second if I could!

Great stay, perfect spot to have quick access to the lake if you brought a boat. House was clean and had all the amenities you could ask for. We had a great time, and will be making this our go to place for our annual trip.

Our 2nd stay at Troy’s!!! More trips coming also this summer! As I stated before, super lake front home- just perfect! Safe, restaurant within walking distance! Plenty of room for truck and boat! Close to numerous boat launches! The home is just perfect decor and waking up with the sun/lake in your face makes this home a huge bargain! My husband and I loved this place and we were able to bring our dog. We enjoyed sitting on the top deck, soaking in the beautiful view. We only slept in the main bedroom downstairs, but that bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need. We didn’t have the best weather, so the many streaming services was a plus. I would like to return in the summer. I didn’t realize that the water level of the lake in April would be so low. The two of us really enjoyed our stay, but this home would also be the perfect place for a family to rent.

The peaceful setting was exactly what we needed to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life. The cabin is brand new and thoughtfully designed providing many comforts of home. We thoroughly enjoyed the stunning views of the lake, especially as the fall leaves changed colors. The vibrant hues of red, orange, and yellow created a breathtaking backdrop, making our morning coffee on the deck a truly magical experience. While we didn't swim or kayak, we enjoyed leisurely walks around the area, soaking in the tranquility and beauty of nature. The host was incredibly welcoming and provided great recommendations for nearby dining. If you're seeking a serene getaway to immerse yourself in the beauty of fall, this Airbnb is the perfect spot. We left feeling refreshed and inspired, and we can't wait to return!

Lisa was a wonderful host and even met us at the door when we arrived to make sure that we were settled in okay and knew how everything worked. She checked in throughout the stay just to make sure everything was okay which I appreciated. I would gladly stay here again as it was the perfect location for when we come to visit Lapeer. Such a cool spot — you immediately feel transported to a different place. We found ourselves forgetting we were even in Ohio anymore! It’s also close to everything and there’s a bike path right at the end of the street. Highly recommend!

Lisa has made a beautiful little getaway in the small town of Leamington! Their family was always friendly and very welcoming. Access to the park across the street and beautiful short walk to beach was so convenient and made the area feel more private as well. So relaxing and had everything you needed. It was a perfect getaway spot and I would highly recommend!

I went during the off-season - it was easy to get to, Joyce was incredibly helpful and kind! Would definitely love to visit again in the future. She was very accommodating and friendly! I loved the whole eccentric vibe of the town and everyone felt very welcoming and friendly.

My first time in Canada got off to a beautiful start at this lakeside apartment! The space is clean, bright, comfortable and peaceful. The view from the bedroom is stunning and the yard/deck right in front of the water feels like a summer dream. The hosts are very friendly and have made our stay calm and easy. We especially appreciate meeting the cat next door. The price, quality, and location of this place is most definitely a rare find. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat on a Great Lake, this is the perfect spot. We will definitely be coming again!

Wir verbrachten zwei wundervolle Tage in dem Lake House in winterlicher Stimmung am zugefrorenen See. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet und auch sonst hat die Unterkunft alles was man braucht und ist liebevoll eingerichtet. Wir haben uns direkt wie zuhause gefühlt und würden uns sehr freuen wieder zu kommen!

Great cottage! Perfect for a family getaway. We enjoyed the beautiful beach which was a short walk away and the lovely yard. We had several bonfires and enjoyed the cozy cottage environment. Wonderful stay!

A beautiful beach vibe, well appointed and tastefully decorated. Comfortable beds, hot water on demand tankless water heater and well equipped kitchen. Added bonus is the firepit!

Derrick treated us extremely well and had a boatload of activities for us to choose from. I’d fully recommend this stay for anyone that’s looking!
