Beautiful property, with beautiful views. Easy to get to, nice paved roads. Kids loved the pool and the outside play area. Very peaceful and relaxing place. Hope to visit again soon

Gorgeous mountain retreat is a perfect way to describe this property. I found everything in the description of this property to be true. In my opinion Karla’s description was very humble and we found the property to be much better than expected. Entire family celebrated my father’s 90th birthday, and found the house plenty spacious for all of us. With full living space on the main level and downstairs we never felt crowded.The house was immaculate and very well stocked with items that were above and beyond any other property I’ve ever stayed in right down to the firewood. Directions were easy to follow and communication was always done in a timely fashion. If you want to relax, do nothing, enjoy the views this is the place for you. If you want to be active, go hiking, play golf, tennis, etc. this is the place for you. If you want to grill out and watch football with the gang, this place is for you. So if you have a large group, and you are looking for a mountain getaway, I recommend that you stop looking and book this property NOW!!

Very comfortable, quiet home. I felt like we were the first guests based on the cleanliness. We enjoyed sitting on the patio watching for wildlife and played a few games of foosball. Easy instructions, no fuss. Thank you.

Beautiful view and plenty of room for our family. Kerry responded quickly to my questions and gave clear directions. I’m glad she recommended to stay on paved roads since we arrived at night and alternate routes take you down gravel roads. Convenient location for our stay to enjoy snow tubing and amenities at the Sapphire Valley Community Center.

We had an amazing stay in this comfortable and well-equipped home, it truly felt like home! The peaceful area made our stay even more relaxing, and our kids had a wonderful time. Lynnette’s beautiful place was delightful! The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfortable, and everything was spotless. We felt so at home with the Christmas decorations and especially the welcoming pie. We hope to come back soon. Great location- close to everything!

Sharon’s Cosmic getaway is a fantastic choice if visiting western North Carolina. The place spotless, beautifully furnished and a terrific view. It’s close to Asheville, the Smokey Mountains the Blue Ridge Parkway and lots more. The host is very responsive and great communication from check in to check out. Would highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay! We were looking for a cute and comfortable place to stay while we were in town for my daughters musical performance at WCU. Greta's house was perfect. It was very clean and beautifully decorated and is very close to the university. This is a great house!

The cabin itself was spotless.. What I loved most was the outdoor deck with its view of the forest. Love the hot tub and watching the wildlife. We saw 6 deer. I spent mornings sipping coffee and evenings stargazing. It truly felt private and secluded, but it was still an easy drive to nearby hiking trails and really close to Ashville / Biltmore with shops and restaurants. The host was welcoming and provided clear instructions, which made check-in and check-out seamless. I would absolutely recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat and can’t wait to come back!

Our family had a fantastic trip, and Phillip was extremely proactive with communication and great recommendations for restaurants and fun activities nearby. The house had everything we were looking for and is very comfortable and inviting. They also stocked the kitchen with basic items you usually have to remember to bring…including a full variety of spices, oil, coffee, etc. The property itself is where this rental really shines! Beautiful view of Lake Glenville and the house is nestled in a peaceful cove with an impressive waterfall just across the way. There are several outdoor seating areas that make it PERFECT for whatever you’re looking to do. For those wanting to really get away to a quiet retreat, look no further! We would definitely stay here again!

Pete was extremely responsive. There were not any issues but he was so helpful when we reached out for hiking, restaurant etc options. The home was absolutely perfect and exactly as advertised. We travel extensively and found this home to be one of our favorites!

Plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have their own space. We thoroughly enjoyed the large fireplace. So warm and cozy! We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb with our family of 10, ranging from a baby to grandparents. The house was meticulously maintained and spotlessly clean. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing trip. The layout was perfect, with plenty of space for everyone to spread out while still having great common areas for gathering. Every room was beautifully designed, so no one felt like they got the “lesser” room. The views were absolutely incredible, and we loved the added amenities—board games, foosball, a jacuzzi, and a grill. The host was fantastic—super responsive, helpful with local recommendations, and proactive in keeping us informed about a nearby fire. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this home for any group looking for a relaxing and well-equipped retreat!

Great place to travel between cities and visit Smoky Mountains. Nice, quiet area and the trails on the property were great. Rita's place had everything you need for a home away from home. It was a perfect little cottage! Everything was brand new. We loved the complementary gift basket. We enjoyed sitting on the private back deck and walking to the waterfalls. Will recommended great restaurants! We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Cashiers! Highly recommend!

We loved staying at the Highland House! It was the perfect place to relax after exploring the mountains and downtown (Easy drive to downtown, about 20 minutes). The views were amazing and the house was well stocked and clean. The host communicated all the essentials and recommendations before we got there and we had no problem with anything. Great place to stay!!

Looking for a private mountain top escape? This fits the bill! Beautiful views are a given. The house is comfortable with plenty of room to spread out. My kids were disappointed it wasn’t a full size pool table but still played several games. I’d caution anyone without 4 wheel drive not to try the driveway during the winter months or even very rainy times. We had a great time hiking nearby trails, hanging out at the house, and enjoying the peace of the mountain. There were a couple maintenance issues but we asked they be solved after we left. Our host was always quick to answer any questions and was helpful. We enjoyed our stay!
