A beautifully appointed cottage in the middle of Michigan's Leelanau county wine country. Suttons Bay is five minutes away and downtown Traverse City is 10 minutes. The Leelanau bike trail is just down the road for all of you bicycle enthusiasts. Our place is a great central point for excursions to Sleeping Bear Dunes, Kayaking on the Crystal River, having a meal in historic Fishtown, wine tasting, ciders and breweries and so many more unique things to do on the Leelanau peninsula.

We're on the boarder of Benzie and Leelanau Counties, the best of wine regions this side of the Mississippi and a true artisanal food destination It's a short drive to Honor, Empire or Glen Arbor. Inside beautiful knotty pine walls and ceilings; gas fireplace, full kitchen. Outside a large patio overlooking the woods with gas grille. Barrier free. Applewood and its sister cabin, the Cherrywood, are attached properties. Rent both for a larger event! They are part of the Homewood Cottage Association.

Absolutely no cats or other pets are allowed. We do not have a TV, but we do have fiber optic high speed internet.
