One of the most unique Airbnb places we've stayed in. The apartment has a lot of stairs, but climbing up them is well worth the effort! It is situated on the top floor of an old bank. It's been renovated to be bright and modern with an open concept. The high ceilings and large windows, makes the place airy and bright. Beds were comfortable. A full kitchen had everything needed. Lots of hot water-pressure great. Extra bonuses - a balcony off the back of the apartment overlooks the Manistee River and there's a vintage movie theater just across the street. The river is a freighter channel with drawbridges! You can check in advance to see when ships will pass and if you are lucky, you may see one. The Vouge theater seems to show one new movie, a classic movie, and an indy type movie. The rest of the neighborhood is all 19th century/early 20th century buildings - pubs, coffee shops, a restaurant, antique shops, etc. Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore is only 50 mins away. Staying here was such a seamless and comfortable experience. Alisa made check in extremely easy and the place was spotless upon arrival. We noticed Alisa provides recommendations, menus, and things like puzzles and binoculars for birdwatching—all which enriched our stay in Door County.

Angela’s place was amazing! When we walked in, we were in awestruck by how classy the furniture selections and decorating were. Also, this was probably the cleanest Air BNB we have stayed in. Angela was very communicative, and she provided great recommendations for places to dine. We enjoyed the fire pit one evening, with the reflection of the full moon over the bay…so cool! We would love to come back to the area, and this place will certainly be our first choice for places to stay!

Lovely place RIGHT on the lake. My husband and I went for a date weekend of ice fishing and relaxation. Yes-it was a perfect spot to walk out and fish despite the quantities of snow! Restaurants all right there in walking distance- hours are different than what is on menus or online so be aware. Very clean and cozy place that was spacious and warm. We will definitely keep it on our list for the future!

We loved the idea of converting an old motel into a more comfortable and spacious place right across from the beach. The bed was comfortable, "living" room space with table, microwave and fridge were just what we needed, and folks we met were very friendly. We'd stay here again!

Very beautiful place. Secluded and peaceful, perfect for a quiet weekend away. Has a cute little town not too far away with plenty of places to eat and activities to participate in. Would definitely come back!

me and my fiance stayed just a few days and I didn’t want to leave! The space was even better than expected. Having almost everything you’d need to cook, plenty of towels, clean bedding. It was so clean and beautiful inside and the view from the balcony was gorgeous. Felt just like home. The neighborhood was very nice and peaceful as well. We will 100% be back!

MIke was an amazing host. Extremely responsive, and very flexible and accommodating. Was in town with my family for a funeral; Mike was very understanding and was willing to go the extra mile to support the changing flow of the trip. Beautiful view; I could imagine it would be amazing in the summer. All-in-all, a great stay, and exactly what we needed during this time. Would love to be there in the summer or fall!

Very clean & comfortable place! Beautiful yard and deck.. beds were comfy, kitchen had what we needed and the living area chairs were just what we needed after a day of shopping! Our family had a great stay at Jeffrey’s place. We especially enjoyed the kitchen with full amenities we needed. We also enjoyed the nice view and the quiet neighborhood. Highly recommend! Would stay again in the future once the weather gets a little bit warmer.

Perfect location, super convenient, and able to walk eveywhere. The airbnb was very clean and modern and had all the amenities you need. The hot tun was an extra bonus, we used it almost every night! Great for a girls weekend and visiting all the wineries! Michael the host made sure we knew everything about the airbnb before our stay. It was extremly easy to access everything. I would recommend this place amd definitely stay here again!

Dave made us feel right at home and answered any questions we had. His place is near restaurants and stores which were very convenient! It is also a 12 minute drive to the national park and there are so many places to check out. It’s about a 45 minute drive to Chicago and there’s a train nearby if you want to take that instead into the city. I highly recommend staying here Dave’s place was clean and he was an amazing host!

Beautiful condo and super clean! The location is perfect to walk to shops and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to come back.

This may be one of my new favorite Air BNB spots! It is very comfortable and close to a lot of spots in Traverse City. The beach view was also very nice to look at. Kara is a great host and provided us with clear check in and check out instructions. Will definitely be visiting again!

Lisa’s place was perfect for a weekend getaway. My wife and I would definitely rebook this place for a future visit. The skybridge to the brewery and other shops was a nice touch and allowed us to get to the Main Street in town with ease.

We really enjoyed this place. The condo was extremely well maintained and clean. The unit matched the description completely. As mentioned in the listing, the condo is on a busy road and there is road noise. But honestly it wasn't a problem for us. The owner does include a sound machine which helps eliminate any road noise at night. We would definitely stay here again sometime.
