This spacious, self contained tree-top cabin with viewing deck is a bright and airy, naturally finished room sitting in the canopy at the base of Volcano Maderas. It is west facing, w views to Volcano Conception. Located just 10 minutes outside of Balgue and ten minutes from the trailhead to Maderas lagoon, this is a convenient 'jungle' setting. Breakfast fruits, juice and a coffee, WiFi, parking, travel assistance, advice + tours of our farm included- gratis. A true island adventure!

Our small hotel is perched on the edge of beautiful Laguna de Apoyo. It is surrounded by tropical gardens, birds, and nature. We have a beautiful two floor massage space overlooking the laguna. Cabin, volcanoes view

Finca Montania Sagrada lies in an open space at the foot of Volcano Maderas. The property is about 50mts above lake level, off the main road and quiet. Coming here is not for everyone. The short road (400mts) to reach our gate is very stony and bumpy. Not all vehicles make it up. In the rainy seasons, May, June, September and October it becomes worst. Exploring the neighbourhood is best done walking.

La Palmera: a treehouse nestled in an Organic farm

This a tree-house on the edge of a permaculture farm and forest restoration project sitting in the folds of Volcano Maderas, surrounded by jungle palms and fruit trees. It's conveniently located just 15 minutes from town of Balgüe and ten minutes from the official Maderas trail-head. Relax in the hammocks and enjoy the sounds of nature in this and educational and immersive farm-stay.

La Poza Azul - Single Room

Private single room in an eco-built cabin, surrounded by jungle on Ometepe's most remote side. Sleep with a view on the lake alongside the monkeys, birds and other wildlife.
