Large spacious rooms, plenty of seating inside and outside. House decks and boat deck were fabulous and we tried to enjoy every spot, weather permitting. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable furniture. Scenery was beautiful and location peaceful. This would be a definite do again. Our host, Colby, was attentive when we needed her!

We had a wonderful stay at Lake ‘O the Pines! We could have asked for a better Airbnb or a kinder host. My son and I took one of the awesome kayaks down to the lake…and then couldn’t get it back up the hill….and the host told us not to worry and that her husband would take care of it! 😅 So kind! Thank you for a great stay!

Kelly and Shelley were very nice. The house is a lovely and very beautiful view in the backyard. My family and my friend's family had a very relaxing long weekend. Will come back next time. Thank you for letting us to stay.

The cabin was perfect – comfortable, scenic.

Katlin's home was exactly what we were hoping for. It had the perfect location, everything we needed and super clean and comfortable beds. We cannot wait to stay there again. We highly recommend to anyone needing a place in Gilmer.

Amazing cabin, we enjoyed our visit, only issue we had was it was a little hot upstairs, but that is to be expected in Texas! We loved watching the deer all day as well.

Stayed in the Sproul cabin, very nice setup along the lake. Great views and local, loved the fire pit at night and all the provided wood. We were in town for an event at nearby Barnwell mountain so didn't get to spend enough time at the cabin, but looking forward to staying next year!

We loved our stay. Busy during the day with lots of people, families and children. We are totally used to the hustle and bustle so we enjoyed watching all of the families. The nights were very peaceful. A rainstorm came through during one night and the pump behind us came on early in the morning. It disturbed the peace of our morning but it’s not something our host could help. The cabin is on stilts and sways but you don’t notice it once you’ve been inside a little while. The lake is stunning. Beautiful views of the sun and moon rise. We were lucky to be there on a full moon weekend. The boat ramp has easy access to the cabin. They have canoe rentals as well. Overall we truly enjoyed our stay and would 100 percent recommend.

Lake is peaceful. Use Apple Maps to get to location as Google takes you down a terrible bumpy road. Kayaking the lake was our favorite part. Dock was fun for fishing and grilling. Hot tub was on the other side of the property and had no privacy screen so it was not secluded which is what we would have preferred. If the neighbors would have been home it would have been super awkward. Bed had some sagging in the middle and didn’t have a zip closure mattress pad. Top of mattress pad was not clean either. If you desire a shower make sure not to book here but it wasn’t a deal breaker for us.

The cabin was clean and comfortable. Loved the decor and how close to the water it was. The bed was very comfortable and there was even coffe available fir my husband, we forgot to pack some. The only cons in our opinion was the lack of a path down the hill to the cabin. This could be a problem for those with mobility issues or if the ground was wet.

We loved the decks, fire pit and parking. Cabins were clean well appointed. The beds were very comfortable. We would absolutely stay here again.

Awesome property!! If you’re looking for a beautiful view and a little privacy, this is the perfect spot.

We had a wonderful time at Willow’s Cabin. It was the exact vibe we were looking for for our relaxing weekend away. The dogs had so much fun playing in the ponds, and we had even more fun meeting the pigs, relaxing in the hot tub, and making s’mores. Couldn’t recommend this place more!

Our friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Whiskey Barrel! The house was beautiful, super clean and had all that we needed! We took this trip so we could all “escape.” We definitely did that! We didn’t leave the property one time! This house checked all the boxes for us. There was so much to do to keep entertained. Pickle ball, kayaking, fishing, hot tub, darts, smart TV’s kept us entertained for our weekend. We brought our pups with us and it was nice that the front yard was fully fenced. If you are bringing pups, they will have to stay in the front yard (that is the only area fully fenced.) Perfect getaway house with everything you will need. Jennifer is a wonderful host and was super responsive! She even checked on us several times throughout our stay. Can’t wait to return!
