We truly enjoyed our week's stay at this beautiful home in the country near the lake! The home itself is nicely done with homey touches but isn't too cluttered. The furniture was comfortable as was the master bed. (It's a three bedroom but it was just my husband and I this trip.) Very nice amenities such as makeup removal cloths, snacks, USB hubs for charging phones & tablets, etc. Nice fire pit with chairs in the huge back yard. There are neighbors within sight but everything was quiet & peaceful. Able to walk down the road to the little boat ramp ... it's not the main boat ramp on the lake but a small one. We ate out or BBQ'd (took our own little charcoal grill) every night so I can't speak to the oven/stove but the fridge kept up nicely with us on ice cubes! Pillows, linens & towels were good quality. Washer & dryer worked very well. Skeeter was very responsive to questions we had about being able to plug in our boat batteries, park the boat, etc.! We will definitely stay again!

Rock was responsive to any messages and was a great host. Nice beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood made you feel as if you where in your own home.

We loved the place for the private, pretty surroundings. Fishing in the pond was great and worth working through all the hydrilla that invades it. Our family probably caught 150 large mouth bass over the 3+ days we were there. They bit all day long even in the summer heat. Best place is to take the canoe across the pond to the other side. We would stay again and recommend it to others.

Our stay was cut short because of work but definitely perfect for what we needed it for!

Such a wonderful cozy little place to stay. Felt right at home. Very responsive host. Enjoyed all the cute little snacks.

It was such a great experience to watch the recent total eclipse from Fair’s property. The space is lovely and was a great getaway from the city. She was a gracious host as well!

Had a restful couple of days. The bed was wonderfully comfortable! Enjoyed every minute there and I will definitely book again!!

Karie is a very responsive and kind host. Her “Bird’s Nest” is like a little quaint oasis, located in the back of her property. Fairly private. Wasn’t noisy, the hot tub was a lovely and relaxing, the only way I’d say it’s not private is when exiting the RV your up higher than the fence so oncoming traffic or person(s) walking could see you. Aside from that very very minor detail. Me and my partner very much enjoyed our stay! Wished it could’ve been longer :)
