This is both a gorgeous and comfortable home! The panoramic views of the water just make you smile from the moment you wake up! We visited over New Year’s and enjoyed the outdoor fire pit (great for s'more's!) with views of beautiful holiday lights at night. It was great for unplugging and enjoying family time cooking, playing games, and watching movies and sports . The hosts were very friendly and responsive. We hope to be back again in the future!

We enjoyed a wonderful stay over Thanksgiving with our family. The home was as advertised - the location is beautiful, even in the colder months. The large living room makes it easy to enjoy time together, and there is plenty of room for guests to spread out in bedrooms and smaller spaces.

This is the most peaceful place I have ever been. Feels like home, on the water, with a pool! The best!

We had an incredible stay at this lovely waterfront home. The views were absolutely stunning—peaceful, calming, and perfect for unwinding. We spent our days kayaking right from the property and our evenings around the bonfire under the stars, which made for such a memorable and relaxing escape. The house itself was clean, cozy, and beautifully maintained with thoughtful touches throughout. It was incredibly quiet and serene, just what we were hoping for. The nearby town was a delight—quaint and welcoming with great restaurants, charming antique shops, and some of the best seafood we’ve had in a while. It was the perfect mix of relaxation and exploration. Whether you’re looking to kayak, explore the area, or simply unplug and relax by the water, this place has it all. We would absolutely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic getaway. Hope to be back soon!

Wow!! What an amazing stay! We spent the weekend here with some friends from church and three babies! The place was great for entertaining everyone and the babies had a blast hanging out in the open space of the kitchen! The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The house was beautifully maintained and had super cute decor! We enjoyed the amazing views from the house and deck overlooking the water! Amy’s suggestion book was super helpful for finding niche spots to explore downtown! She was quick to respond to any questions we had throughout our stay! Hoping we can stay here again soon!!!

The home was GREAT - lovely setting - very peaceful. Barbara was a wonderful host - very proactive and communicative. We made many requests - and all were met.

My family has an amazing stay. The view never got old and it was so wonderful seeing the different colors in the sky throughout the morning and evening. We even had a double rainbow! The dock was awesome, I even jumped in the river! It was clean but a little shallow (about 4 ft at low tide I think). The pool was unreal! So clean and fun. Our family spent hours swimming and playing and laughing! Loved the screened in porch too, was so cool during the storm! Highly recommend! There isn’t a diving board on the pool that was seen in the photos and there were a few minor things that could be fixed but nothing that stopped us from having an amazing stay.

We have stayed at Darrell’s place a number of times and we love it! We love it so much we will be going back! Not only is Darrell a great host, but his home and the setting are both so special. Our kids love it and we love it. This is a unique experience not to be missed.

A quiet neighborhood and waterfront. We really enjoyed the fire pit, the wide, open space inside and out and the comfortable beds and couches. The kayaks were a plus, along with the PacMan, air hockey and other games in the garage. We spent lots of time there! The house is close to Kilmarnock with all the big box stores and a hospital. An adorable Main Street also! We enjoyed our stay!

Lovely place! The kayaks and SUP were in great shape and we enjoyed time on the water. The kids set crab pots and fished.There was lots of space to eat meals together and to have quiet time alone. Pretty decor and beautiful views of the river. It was a short stay for us or we would have tried some of the restaurant recommendations.

One of the very best Air BnB rentals we've ever had. The other one we normally use in the NN was rented for the dates we wanted. This one was available, it looked good, so we gave it a try. It's tied as our #1 favorite place to stay. We'll be back here next year as it is so close and convenient to everything and the home was terrific!

Our multi-generational family loved our two weeks at Big Bay. The house is well-appointed and comfortable, and the beach, which you can see from the living room, dining room, and kitchen, is stunning. Water toys (paddle boards, floats, PFDs, chairs, etc.) are available in the garage under the house. There have been updates to the deck since the photos were taken - the side deck on the left of the house when you’re looking from the water is covered and screened with a table and the aforementioned outdoor kitchen. It’s a great place to enjoy the nice weather and catch the breeze without having to worry about the sun. Just in front of the screened-in area is a large, comfortable couch. Susan let us know before we arrived that a couple of the burners on the grill in the outdoor kitchen weren’t working & provided us a different grill from one of her other properties to use instead. We really appreciated that she was proactive and it was a great solution for our needs. We hope to return!

Had an excellent stay at Liz’s place for a quick weekend. The photos do not do it justice. The views are incredible and it’s a really beautiful and comfortable home! Plus I was not expecting how many different restaurants, activities, little towns to explore etc. there would be nearby. Can’t wait to come back.

What an amazing spot! Tons of room for our family. Great outdoor space, especially loved the porch to drink my morning coffee or get a perfect view of the sunset. The beach area was perfect for children and the fishing was insane. SO peaceful and relaxing! Lucy was responsive and helpful with anything that we needed and she made great recommendations when asked. Definitely coming back!!

Spectacular sunsets, incredible views, comfy beds, lots of spaces to curl up or enjoy the peaceful surroundings, full equipment for water sports, well stocked kitchen, friendly community and responsive and welcoming host- this house had it all for our wonderful family vacation.

We loved our Labor Day weekend getaway at Robin’s river home. With four adults and five kids, there was planets of space and lots to keep everyone busy. The place is nicely decorated and also well stocked with all kitchen items you may need, games, water activities, sheets and towels. We would definitely like to come back and stay here again!

It is a beautiful property with amazing views that delighted us every night. The real hallmark of a great host is how they handle any issues that arise. Yes, we had a issue, but the owner, Morrie, was amazing. He responded immediately, appropriately, and we were more than satisfied. This is a clean and charming house with amazing views and privacy that cannot be beat. Probably the best AirBnB I have ever stayed at. What more can I say? All thumbs up!

Had a wonderful stay for a girls weekend! Our group enjoyed the beautiful water views from every room, well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and spacious feel of the house. We were able to walk to town on a nice day. Had a delicious dinner 5 minutes from the house at Adrift. It was a nice getaway and hope we can return!

This was a lovely home in a lovely spot. It's got lovely architecture and an amazing view, and is well maintained. The beach was great and the house was clean, and we had a great, relaxing getaway. Overall, we had a great time and would highly recommend Lauren's home.
