Had a fantastic stay at Kris’ place, what a little gem! Great area, loved walking in Jesmond Dene and a short distance to the city centre. The hot tub was a lovely luxury, but the property is amazing in itself, very well equipped, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We were staying with a young baby and it was really appreciated that the travel cot was there set up ready for us, we’d highly recommend and will definitely book again in the future if we’re in the area.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! As a couple and large dog, we felt very secure and relaxed. The wood fired hot tub was fantastic, and the edition’s sauna was a fantastic bonus. Lots of great walking routes within a short drive away, too. The finishing touches like the welcome paper a guidebook show real care and consideration for their guests. We’d love to come back!

We have absolutely loved our stay at Toadlands and cannot recommend it enough! 🩷 The location is just wonderful and allows you to completely destress and switch off. The hut itself was warm, cosy and super comfortable - it was a real home away from home. Sitting in the hot tub listening to the birdsong was such a treat, as was toasting marshmallows on the firepit under the stars. 🌌 It is clear from all of the tiny details, both inside the hut and out, that Jane really cares about your experience as guests and we really appreciated her thoughtfulness in this aspect. We will definitely be returning to Toadlands in the not so distant future, and would urge who is after a complete retreat from the world to book in - you will not regret it! 🥰

This cottage was absolutely fantastic. Great little get away for me and my family to enjoy a relaxing time away together. Hot tub was amazing as well as having a very cozy cottage to relax in with lovely log burning fire and lots of lovely touches for the kids with board games and wine for the adults. Had lots of adventures in the Lake District on our days out together making memories. We will be back. Thank you Sarah for making it super stress free 😀

This house was absolutely stunning. It was well worth the money we paid. We had 12 guests for a Hen Do and we had plenty of room. The hot tub was wonderful and warm, even if February. The view was stunning as were the rooms. Each room was beautifully decorated, including a stunning shower and bath. Hosts communicated clearly and responded quickly when I had questions. Would definitely return and recommend!

My wife and I stopped here for two nights to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. We were provided clear instructions and were pleased to see the place was spotlessly clean. The amenities were excellent which included washing up needs, Dyson airfan, coffee machine, slippers, dressing gown and a brilliant tv/sound system. The hosts made us feel like home and Fiona gave us some great recommendations in the area. We were even assisted with a lift to the nearest town when we struggled with taxis. I’d recommend anyone staying here to book taxis in advance. We were greeted each morning by a warm welcome from Blue, the friendly black Labrador who is not shy to sit and watch telly with you! 🐶 What a perfect place with friendly hosts and a lovely dog. We’d love to come back in the future. Thank you!

this stay was perfect. the drive past Barnard castle is beautiful with loads of little cafes/pubs/shops ect in the village. On arrival it was super easy to check in and everything we needed was provided. host Julia was so friendly and responsive and made both me and my partner feel so welcome. will be back again!

We had an incredible experience staying at Billy's property! From the moment we arrived, Billy was an outstanding host, making sure everything was perfectly in place and ready for our arrival. The house was spacious and easily accommodated all 6 of us with plenty of room to spare. One of the highlights of our stay was being greeted with freshly baked blueberry muffins – a thoughtful and delicious touch that made us feel right at home. The house had all the amenities we needed, making it feel just like our own home. We particularly enjoyed the private access to the property and the hot tub, which was a great way to unwind after a day of exploring. We arrived for our stay in beautiful sunshine and had a wonderful relaxing afternoon and evening after a busy few days sightseeing in the Northumberland area. It was exactly what we wanted and my two teenagers were thrilled. We all had a wonderful time in the hot tub watching the stars on a clear evening. Would definitely recommend
