Beautiful house on highway 88 that is our home away from home and would love to have you to enjoy it like we do. Very large yard that you can have a bonfire or play outside games. Blue Ridge Parkway 1 1/2 miles away, eateries and Shatley Springs nearby. Jefferson and West Jefferson 15 to 20 minutes away. New River State Park 10 minutes away. Winery minute away. The Whip-poor-will's Roost (pets welcome!)

Nestled among the trees at the top of the ridge of Bell Mountain is our lovely cabin, aptly named The Whip-poor-will's Roost. These bird's distinctive calls can be heard in the early evening hours, a complimentary soundbite to the fresh mountain air. About 20 mi. from the Blue Ridge parkway, and looking out over + surrounded by Stone Mountain State Park and the Doughton Recreational area, this log cabin offers a peaceful getaway with ample access to the outdoors (including our own 18 acres).
