In the pleasant village of Great Waldingfield, with a pub, village shop, and close to Sudbury (3 miles), Lavenham (4 miles), Bury St. Edmunds(16 miles). We live next door so are happy to help with directions and what to do in the area.

It is thought to be one of the oldest buildings still standing in the village, at one time a medieval council meeting house during the height of the East Anglian wool trade. With an array of period features, and nestled in the tranquility of the Suffolk countryside, it is a place to relax, recuperate, unwind and explore.

There is direct access from the bottom of the garden onto the ‘sea wall’ along the river, for walks and wonderful birdwatching. There is a duckpond (fenced) by the house and chickens (collect the eggs), and a large summerhouse with veranda in the garden, as well as a paddock of alpacas!
