The friends I was traveling with said this is the nicest vacation rental they have ever stayed at. The river location is just unbeatable. Going to steal that green house idea some day too. And the house had everything we needed and functioned just like being in our own homes. Andy was communicative and left great recommendations on what to check out in town.

Nora greeted us when we arrived. The house was just as beautiful as it was in the pictures. The interior was beautifully decorated with a mid-century and vintage sort of style. The rooms were spacious and allowed for ample room for the five of us. Next, the AirBnb was very close to downtown, and allowed us to experience the interesting nightlife of Bastrop. Lastly,the story of the house made us fall in love with the house more, and made our stay feel much more inviting and special; as well as an honor.

We enjoyed our stay. Very peaceful and we enjoyed hanging out on the back porch watching the fire pit and relaxing. We enjoyed the peace and quiet.

Great spot! Visited by deer, ducks, chickens, and cats as we spent a lost afternoon lakeside.

We absolutely loved our weekend stay in the Eisley cottage! The location is incredible, especially during the Round Top Antique Show. The bed was SO comfortable and there was plenty of space in the cottage for us! Cutest decor and had everything we needed for our stay. Paige is a wonderful host and we’re looking forward to making another trip back!

Great place to stay! So many amenities are provided. Loved the various outdoor cooking options, hot tub, and pool table. So much space for everyone. The largest couch I think I have ever seen. Everything had been cleaned thoroughly. A previous review mentioned the floors being unclean, it was a build up of soap residue that a quick vinegar rinse took off. It can happen when you mop too much with certain types of soap/cleaners, it is not a lack of cleaning. Amber was super responsive and helpful! We had a minor issue that Amber helped with in minutes. The only negative is the request to not flush toilet paper that is posted in the master bathroom. Septic issues are not unusual, but for some people this could be an issue and they should know about it before booking. I would love to stay here again and would recommend it highly.

This was the first time our family has done any type of camping and we enjoyed every minute of it. The place was set up perfectly and had such a great view. We brought our jetskis and parked them at the dock throughout the day making lake access extremely easy. We will definitely be back.

It was great! We stayed two nights for Sherwood Forest. the outside area was our favorite. after a long day of walking around we put the kids to bed and made a fire and had a blast sitting and talking with good people.

The cottage was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Great attention to the details, had everything anyone would need. The outdoors was pretty and very quiet. Highly recommend!!
